secret base looking at the guild lines for NFA SBRs, it says that the rifle must be engraved with the serial number, as well as the model, caliber, name of name on the trust, and location of manufacture. Is it different for a shop building a SBR and filing the Form 1, than it would be for an individual building their own SBR and filing their own Form 1? Like the difference being whether a shop manufactured an original SBR, and an individual remanufactured a Title 1 rifle into a Title 2 SBR? I also read that the engraving is only needed when you go to sell it, because of interstate commerce requirements, so there’s that too.

Yes, he had to wait just like everybody else. If you'll notice, when he showed up to the range to see if the gun would fit in his trunk, he didn't actually have possession of the firearm. The dealer still had possession of the firearm in probably will keep possession until all the necessary paperwork is completed.

O.K look, I'm just a wee lad under the age of 18 and would like someone to argue the merits of the Confederate flag. I'm not offended by it (mostly) but it is anti-American. The South wanted to secede from Union. You can't get more anti-American than that. I don't really care about the "heritage not hate" or "racism" or anything like that nor am I calling a Texas based pro-second amendment rifle shop anti-American. Please, someone, have a conversation with me as to why the Confederate flag (if it even is the Confederate flag (I've heard it isn't)) is good.

Bye the way, I'm a Texan myself and I fully support the second amendment, I've just got mixed thoughts about the Confederate flag and I'm asking ya'll how I should think or if I should even care to think at all. @@peterlowell7963- a lot to ask in such a venue. First, both sides were/are Americans. So, neither was/is anti-American. Both sides fought for differing interpretations of what America should be, the CSA for Jeffersonian federalism and the USA for Hamiltonian nationalism. The Founder's federal republic was replaced by Lincoln's national empire as a result of the civil war. The states today are largely mere appendages of the "federal" government, with very little retained sovereignty. The "Southern Cross" if you will is a soldier's battle flag, it is not technically one of the flags representing the CSA. For many it is a symbol of southern pride, family heritage, and defiance to statist oppression. For others who have misused it (much as they have also misused the US and Christian flags), it is a symbol of supremacy, racism, and hate. Those that have been oppressed by it, understandably see it as such. Like all symbols though, its interpretation lies in the eye of the beholder. @@peterlowell7963 A defiant symbol, not without its own controversies. The British portrayed the Revolutionary War as a war to preserve slavery as well. If you look at recent news clips you'll find supremacists marching around with Gadsden flags too. People will find what they seek in symbols. They are all American flags, forge your own path and fly whatever American flag(s) you like. LGB FJB
