tryraterunner.com/mechnightmare Thank you to everyone that has supported this channel. We have our first sponsor, RateRunner. Compare car insurance companies in one place without needing to provide your name, email or phone number.
You said that we don't need to input any personal information, but rather than a quote, it redirects you to other insurance companies who insist on personal information before providing any kind of quote. (By "personal information", I mean name, DOB, email, current insurance policy, and other stuff, not just generic info)
@@thomasblais3612 There are better ways to do it though. I found it very distracting to have it play over content instead of it having its own section. In its own section whatever, I can skip it no issue- especially when this channel timestamps everything. Playing over content though, that's annoying.
0:56 all lead acid batteries have removable covers to the 6 Cells (2.1V each cell), to add water if the level gets low. Nothing wrong with that battery, just an uneducated Tech.
you dont add water you can either add the correct battery acid or electrolyte fluid but that tech didn't seem like he knew what he was talking about at all
@@ElectricSparke Yes, as long as the acid level is not too low you add enough demineralized water to cover the plates. Been years since the last time i saw a battery with removable caps like that one though.
That's awesome about the oil change one. I just finished trying to help my nephew with his p.o.s 2007 Ford Edge. Am internal water pump has to be one of the most monumentally stupid engineering ideas I've seen in a long list of bad ideas from Ford. My nephews engine is screwed also. Hard to understand why Ford has so many class action lawsuits going on right now. Bunch of clowns!
I was going to suggest to people to stop driving over rocks, but then I remembered that I drive over big rocks all the time with my grand Caravan. Can't count the times I cringed at the banging under my car. But what the heck... when I want to get to the lake, I want to get to the lake now. No rock will stop me from trying. 🤪
3:47 I have seen several FRAM oil filters come out like that after 5000kms!!!! crumbling apart, crushed in like an hour glass. Sometimes the plastic cage in the middle breaks apart.
I went to RU-vid to figure out how to install a brake booster. I’m scared I’m going to screw up and end on the channel. But I have to give myself some credit, I don’t think I could neglect my car to the point of these cars. Now I know why mechanics charge so much. This is ridiculous. I’d turn half of them away. Tell them to scrap it and buy another car.
I dont Blame them as dishonest and sneaky the customers are. I manage a shop and there have been a few times that I wish I would have recorded it. "No sir. We did not scratch up your rims, I have a video to prove it too"
@@kris-english i have to eat too but i dont advertise other business than my own imagine a freshly installed solar roof with a makita banner underneath you pay for something then bam! an unsolicited ad its just irritating
@@adambeke3960 RU-vid premium doesn't pay the creators anything, instead it gives you no ads, and lets you "download" videos, do your research youtube is not a stream of revenue.
