SORRY FOR THE FROZEN CLIP AT 4:27. Today we got a call for an ECO DIESEL that is in limp mode. I previously diagnosed the check engine light and found the particulate matter sensor was not communicating with the pcm and the oil viscosity was too low which was causing the truck to go into limp mode. Incredible Job. May I suggest from a 58 DIY guy who has worked on my share of cars. A piece of soft foam padding to put on the ground for your knees will save you problems in the long run.

Thank you! I tried 2 different kneeling boards and they hurt my legs worse than concrete. I’m testing a few different knee pads but haven’t found any that work for me yet

Glad you are still uploading consistently man! I must say I’m constantly impressed by your overall patience. Particularly a few videos back where you fixed that fellas Sebring for free, I know the guy was very nice but he was talking to you almost the entire time you were trying to work lol. When this happens to me while I’m doing repair work, especially when it’s mentally taxing work, I tend to get very frustrated. Like I’m trying to focus here why are you trying to have a conversation with me 😭. Nevertheless I think you’re a great role model. Calm, collected, not rushing to get the job done but also ensuring the customer gets their car fixed in a timely fashion. Hopefully I’m making some sense and not just blabbing. Keep it up man.

Just a suggestion young man. Thought of it watching u spray under the truck. Something I've done do as a DIY lay cardboard underneath catch any type liquids oil etc etc. I get my cardboard from DG Walmart dumpsters etc. It's always handy alot different 5hings. Old amazon packages etc. Just throw away done. It's nice to lay on when work8ng under car as well. Thought I would share that. You may already be doing that. IDK. Trying help an ambitious smart young business owner as yourself. You take care KEEP DOING WHAT UR DOING. U DEFINITELY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED FOR SURE. MUCH RESPECT BRINGING UR NEPHEW ALONG FOR TRAINING DEVELOPMENT That speaks volumes your character.

It's expensive, but I really do recommend that you try Kroil penetrating oil. In my opinion, it works much better than PB Blaster or any of the WD-40 specialist products.

How awesome is it Topdon sent you that scan tool! That topology feature looks awesome and I sure wish my snap-on had that. I'd like to try one of those myself with a scope when the time comes to replace mine. I bought a topscan for my son but haven't tried it yet but it looks like a very capable tool for the price. Hi , those sensors can be tough to get loose . I stripped one once and bought a thread chase tool to fix the threads . Burned my fingers a few times too . The new one came with anti seize . I usually use moving blankets to lay on when working on cars at home . I had several of them , gave a few away . What I got left now have seen their better days . I need some new ones . Got to get some from harbor freight . God bless !

Wow what a disaster! Can't believe what American vehicles have become. Especially diesel trucks. I think this video convinced me to keep My 1st and 2nd Gen 4x stick shifts, these are problems I'll never have to deal with. Somehow everyone became convinced that Government Knows Best oh well.

I bought a Subaru Forrester suv 2009 diesel. Thought it would be cheap to run in city traffic( traffic jams) did not realize the aftermarket dpf needs to warm up and then run at a certain revs depending on the gears to burn off the excess diesel. Needs to do long runs. Not good for city driving. Otherswise a good car awd manual 2.0 ltr.

Hopefully it's the oil and not the oil sensor. Poor guy can't even drive his truck very far and certainly can't pass inspection with the CE light on unreal. I know a guy with this problem on a brand new $80k diesel truck and the dealer can't figure it out. EPA Mobiles.

You are braver than me using a flame near a plastic gas tank, also not using a 'special' sensor wrench, I have two styles and they always work, especially after using a penetrating spray. Hey I'll take that tool if you don't like it :), you have 16k subs I only have 2k, guess that's why you got it :( OK OK I'll take your old Autel :)

Thankfully the driveshaft blocked most of the heat along with the heat shield. The oxygen sensor special tools don’t fit on this sensor. Particulate matter sensors are a 24mm (15/16) not a 22mm (7/8) so unfortunately they wouldn’t work. I’ll have to think about that 😂 The video was taken about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been using that tool daily and absolutely love it! If I wasn’t putting together a second service truck I’d do a giveaway of the autel but stay tuned as I do have other scan tools I’m doing a giveaway on this week or next! Thank you for commenting!
