Having a double midsole just puts more material between your foot and the ground. I personally like the leather midsole better because it starts to form to your foot. There really isn’t any durability differences in the two, just different pros and cons of either. Here we went with both for a couple reasons. One he wanted the leather to form to his foot, and the little screws hold better into the leather, he chose the rubber as well for color, the rubber also gives more cushion compared to the leather, and rubber bonds to rubber better that rubber to leather.
