A quick update. I did get a repeat order from my retailer and the bunches of flowers all sold. So I am pretty happy about that.

They look great. As do all the flowers in your garden too.

Lovely bouquets! It's like painting with flowers, isn't it? I love doing both for friends, as it keeps the creative brain going, and even if I'm an absolute amateur 😊

They are exactly what I picture bouquets should look like. I used to drive my florist crazy because the bouquets never looked right, too stiff. Now I know that the flowers were the wrong ones, because he was the most talented florist around. Not his fault at all. Now we have a young lady from Romania who owns a local flower farm and sells exactly the flowers I love! Her bouquets look like yours. She has taught me so much, too 😊

@@Lea-zf7lm I can't stand those stiff bouquets you get from the florists. I don't get why they do them like that. I guess it is the flowers they choose.

Do you know if amsonia Blue Ice does well as a cut flower? I put some in a bouquet for a friend, as an experiment, but the left on holiday a few days later and I got no feedback on how well it did or not lol

I'm afraid I don't. I do just tend to test new flowers in a bucket of water for a few days before I commit to putting them in a bouquet.

I usually do that, but was feeling lazy on this hot day 😊 Ty, I will do it right now 😊

@JillBretherton I nodded at all your advice about cutting flowers, then went outside in the hot afternoon sun and cut myself a bouquet 🤦‍♀️ I do know better than to do that, but I wanted to try the amsonia. If it fades away fast, I'll try again with an early morning cut. Looking forward to either a video on what you're sowing next and/or roses. Btw, I believe I may get a few sweet peas blooming before next week's 35° weather! I've never seen one in person and am very excited about it all. And that's because of your videos 😊

@@Lea-zf7lm 🤣🤣🤣not gonna lie, I have done that myself. Good luck with your sweet peas. They can survive a bot of hot weather so fingers crossed. Let me know how it goes. It would be fantastic if I helped in some way. 😊
