This is my older ms261. This saw has been my main saw for years. It has an 18” bar and a freshly hand filed chain. Log is a 18” maple out of a tree taken down this summer. #shorts
My dads a woodsman and i decided to look up all his kit to see what people think of it. Pretty happy to see the tool were using to get next years wood for the Burner is so well liked. Were cutting Ash though, looks a bit easier than what you are dealing with haha
My dream saw. Love to see them. Cut great? Right now I have a stihl 025 and it's a beast. I have a square ground chain on it, and it really cuts. I'm 13 years old, and I love chainsaws. Hope to have a 261 some day.

I have one aswell and I believe it is the best all around saw on the market. Plenty of power but it isn't too terribly heavy, also nice filing that chain is Razor sharp
I ran a 260 for years and now a 261. Absolutely love them. Zero complaints. Heard nothing but good about the 400 but you’ve got the big saw covered. Appreciate ya watching!👍🏻
My 461 can wear me out. I’d be fun to run but I don’t think I’d last to long running a 661. 261 is light as a feather after running a tank thru my 461.
