Two things I liked about Cybermen: their original voices sounded like a computer manipulating human vocal cords and seeing the human mouth visible through the helmets during the 5th Doctor's time. Clearly illustrating the human inside the suit and not just another bad android.
RTD liked the way in the backup strips the Cybermen had compound eyes and black markings on their helmets to indicate rank so it was done in the TV series.
I'd like to see a future writer take on the idea that Telos wasn't the only tombworld. Who knows how many worlds are out there, home to legions of Cybermen. Maybe some are home to non-human looking aliens,.and then we could get some cool looking Cyberaliens.
Stuff to cover in the future? How about the Black Sun organisation from magazine stories such as 4-D War? I only remember them vaguely so I can't promise they'll be satisfactory for videos, but I'm willing to give them a go if you are! There were a couple of cyberman stories that featured in comic strips that I vaguely remember - one where they fought ice warriors, and one featuring the ultimate weapon. Again, not sure that they'd be good to cover her, but might be interesting.

I would like a video on the Hybridization of The Cybusmen and Cybermen as I feel it is rather vague. I have a theory that The Cybusmen revitalized The Cybermen who were failing miserably so banded together, made love and merged to become more advanced. (Well advanced a possible)
I'd love to see the original humanoid culture of Mondas. The space station version of Capaldi seemed strange living in Victorian brick towns. Hartnell already knew them in the 10th Planet but Gen Cutler cut him off before he could explain. Where else did Mondas go with its propulsion unit

One of the many ideas I've come up with for my own RU-vid videos (even though I've only uploaded 1) was how various franchises envision the future of Humanity, and watching videos like this make me think how much of a mind fuck it'll be for me to try and chart the Doctor Who version from 21st Century stories like Waters of Mars to Utopia... especially with encounters with Cybermen or Daleks (eg: apparently Swords of Orion/Cyberman series, Tomb of the Cybermen and Earthshock all take place within 26ish years in same century).

P.S. The next monsters to tackle would most obviously be the Daleks. But that would take some doing, and take a very VERY long time, and an inordinate number of videos . If you intend to be as comprehensive with that lot as you were with the Cybermen.

Awesome video and I loved the presentation. Could you please delve into the Timelords' monopoly of time travel and other races who've tried to gain their own version of time travel? And more importantly, how the Timelords have dealt or sabotaged races who HAVE achieved time travel or a very primitive form? David
As this is a place of creativity and imagination (and I've been watching too many of your Cyber videos back to back!) I came up with a few concepts to try and scary-fy the Cybermen again. Some I can't mention here as they're a little along the body horror lines but one I'll pup up for everyone's consideration (wow....verbose of what). It's been suggested that Cybermats are baby Cybermen but what if a Cybermat is a small'ish device ejected from a dying Cyberman containing all it's experience, tactics and information that can be re-uploaded to a new Cyberman when "fresh meat" and metal is available? Other than the Cyber-controller (I think it was in Tomb) uploading from where he was, I'm not aware of any connecting network (like the Dalek Pathweb) between all Cybermen that would make the idea redundant. Even then the recording of the unit's last moments would be carrying information about an enemy that can damage/destroy a Cyberman which would always be of concern and a source of important data of a threat to the entire Cyber race, which of course, must be adapted to. Ok, pick it to bits ;D. Loving the vids by the way
Loved the 1st Cyberman/Orion War boxset, much to enjoy in the 2nd one too (including Cyber-ships graveyard imagery we later saw in Ascension of the Cybermen), however it seemed to rush to a conclusion when what it really deserved was a 3rd or even 4th outing. Also, felt from the start that the Barnaby bloke was kind of an heroic avatar for author Nick Briggs's, so the continual "sight" of him shagging his fembot around the galaxy was a soundscape too far! Even so, all 8 parts are dirt cheap and easily the most epic Cyber story yet so highly recommended to new listeners .● ●.
