Just look at it this way, we'll be able to play and beat Death Stranding before Cyberpunk 2077 is released! It's a win-win in my book. It's getting harder and harder to play and beat some of these games because they're being released so close to each other and my backlog is huge right now!

My point of view is whether CPR or kojima or even naughty dog really bring positive side in gaming industry. They always try to push beyond the limit and it always good to see :)

100% agree, this man deserves all the goodness coming to him.

John Wick is the perfect role for him. The character requires everything that Keanu does very well, and almost none of the things that Keanu doesn't do very well. All the emotional stuff is out the window 15 minutes into the first film, and then it's just badass lone wolf fighting bad guys while looking calm and collected. It's like The Matrix, but this time around Neo is "just" a guy who spent his whole life killing people.

I think Nintendo’s just doing a regular Direct, not a conference, so we wouldn’t hear the crowd react to Reggie. There’s not a single person on Earth who hates Keanu or Will Smith. But Will Smith has been in some bad movies (and RU-vid Rewind) lately and that might tarnish his rep just a little.

They applied themselves. That wasn't the problem. It just came out a year or two too soon, which is crazy.

Yep, lot of effort was put on marketing and hype building. Not enough on game building.

2 years later, I only wish the game was like this when it launched.

It’s a symbiotic event, and Jason believe it’s purely self serving towards businesses and so leaks should be cheered and celebrated. Fans like being surprised, and leaks ruin it. Jason’s just defending it because it fills his pockets.

Thats the thing, he will not be bought with money, he must like project to be personally part of it. They talked with him for 3 hours showing premise and passion they have, and considering Keanu has strong roots in scify/cyberpunk settings he must like it.

But it was worth it.

Next day on stock trade CDPR have gained more than 2.5Billion stock worth within few hours. That's huge profit. Keanu probably cost them max 1% of income ;]

Everytime I think about Cyberpunk, I watch this reaction and genuinely laugh my ass off out of shear awe. Keanu is a freakin' national treasure!

If they felt confident enough to publicly announce the release date for cyberpunk in april 2020, yet all the way in december it launched infamously buggy....then what the hell state was the game in when this event took place?
