I was in shock. I kept thinking it was DmC trying to turn their Dante into Nero or them doing their own Nero. I just couldn't believe for a good while that MAH OG BOI WAS BACK! YEAH!

Actually both of them had a beard before, Kratos since God of War 1 and Dante got his in DMC4, they had it before, it's just longer.

Final Fantasy except it's not DmC 2 it's a continuation of the REAL Devil May Cry, not that jankey DmC reboot. It was a good game just not a good devil may cry game.

It is for sure taking place after Devil May Cry 2 which makes it chronologically the latest in the story. And i am pretty sure that was Dante riding back out of hell on the same motorcycle he rode into hell on in 2. I am hoping i get to play Dante as well. Not just Nero.

It takes place right after the 4th one. If you take a closer look at the trailer, there is a scene where Neros devil arm is being cut by none other than Vergil himself. But fuck, Vergil is different. Black hair and skin all corrupted or some shit. But I guess no wonder? After being Mundus´s pawn?

I don't think saying Devil May Cry 4 was 10 years ago was harsh to DmC. This is a continuation of the original series, so it's not really relevant that that game came out more recently. At this point mentioning it or not mentioning it, either way people are going to say it's a dig at DmC.
