Honestly, takes huge balls to design something like this and put it in the market. Props to that and all the effort it took to make a bunch of new techniques, methods and unique features.
Honestly that’s what I like about this car is that it actually breaks the mold for once. So many car designs look so fucking similar it’s refreshing to see this
Magnificency is defined by this car & video. Acceleration came to stay in my heart once I saw the video. I'm so impressed & amazed. I Knew it was going to be like this but seeing it in reality makes me scream because of pure happiness. Go @Tesla, Go!
@BeastSupreme735lol imagine trying to use superstition to get subs. If it works, it’s works. Says a lot to your level of morality. Wish death on you, if you don’t sub? Truly an amazing time to be alive. Happy holidays.
@@apathofpain Raptor is the name of the engine used by SpaceX. A few weeks ago, those following the development of Starship in Boca Chica (TX) noticed a Cybertruck towing a trailer with a Raptor engine. It just so happened during the shoot for what became art of this ad, a costly and large commercial drone hit the Raptor engine as they did a drive-by shot.
The triangular shape that forms the top of the car is already such an iconic design. You know instanty what car it is. I love how it reminds me more of a stealth plane/battleship than a truck.
Volkswagen Beetles have an "iconic" shape, too. They remind me more of a turtle than a compact sedan. Though, I'm not sure how that makes the shape objectively good.
This is all great, but I feel like the exposed stainless steel is gonna look really crappy after a couple of years of use. Dents, scratches, and even dirt is going to be EXTREMELY noticeable.
This is the start of a new generation of cars. This thing accelerates like a Bugatti Veyron while being completely silent, and can tow like a locomotive, while being bullet proof and never rusting. This thing doesn't even need paint! Complete that with a high capacity battery that can overload a cities electrical circuit grid when charging, and you can safely say the future is here.
Let's just hope they drive safely. This thing could me a massive safety problem when you think about it with all the sharp edges and hard materials etc
This is dope! Feels like I am living in some sci-fi movie, i just love the simplicity and sharp edges I wish it came with a rocket engine so that I could go out into space with my cyber truck😂😂
@@tolightsflores6865 I just might be thinking about a different Jeremy Clarkson. The Jeremy Clarkson I'm thinking of (the real one, not this imaginary version) would never come close to saying anything like this looking at this thing.
@@dertythegrower ... we have the technology to create efficient parts. The solution for cost savings is part interchangeability, leading to economies of scale. The stupid shape is one of the reasons why it's more expensive than originally estimated.
@@luisamu4513nope, it was a total accident when they were doing a film OP at starbase, the drone got too close and smacked into the engine lmao, bit the dirt right afterwards. search spacex raptor engine drone collision, a couple photographers captured it
I actually drew a wedge-shaped car myself for a contest when I was in grade school. I thought it would be very aerodynamic with wind smoothly flowing over the front, while any wind from the back would push it. Wish I still had the drawing.
I can’t imagine anyone who actually needs a truck buying this thing. The sides of the bed are angled. There are so many things I’ve hauled in my truck that wouldn’t be possible in this thing.
A Tesla ensinando as outras marcas como fazer um carro e uma propaganda totalmente funcional, sem aquelas propagandas pífias e sem noção! Parabéns ao time da Tesla!
Also I was hoping the panel between the tray and the back seats would be collapsible for a long sleeping space for camping given the tray has it's own retractable roof. Maybe in a newer model?
what a super cool car. So many insane functionalities. Just Great. I mean it would be greater than other trucks, if it be filled with fossil fuels, but it is electric. Insane!!!
When I first saw this, on the internet, I was like, “Wow, did this come from Mars or something?” Lol. This is a unique and cool looking truck. Sure, not the burliest, but still unique and eye catching. 😆😎
The price increase hurts, but I (and I'm sure others as well) was expecting that. The 40% range decrease (from Tri-motor) was a kick in the balls. Some things on my mind: The $16,000 range-extending 50 kWh battery sounds like a TERRIBLE solution: It's going to be heavy, cannot be self mounted/unmounted. Why don't you guys just offer to RENT THEM OUT from your facilities, since you guys have to mount/remove them anyways? The other issue is that they take up * 1/3 of the bed *, which RENDERS THE BED NEARLY USELESS for people who are lugging around large equipment and/or ATVs, dirtbikes, etc when they're on long range excursions / over landing. With that range extender in the bed, we're now going to have to haul A SEPARATE TRAILER with us to lug our possessions around, including a spare tire, especially if going into the untamed wilderness. Other downgrades and deletions: - Towing capacity decrease 14000 (Tri Motor) to 11000lbs - Towing payload capacity decrease from 3500lbs to 2500lbs - Deleted front light bar on top of windshield (have to buy separately) - Deleted wide ramp from tail bed door. (now an inferior $400 ramp offered separately) - Deleted built-in air compressor (now a $550 option) The Cybertruck is still impressive, but man, given these downgrades and deletions from the 2019 announcement, that's a HARD PILL to swallow. To top it off, you guys are now nickel-and-diming these once-touted features as optional accessories. $300 all-weather floor mats that are NOT STANDARD for a $100k truck is hugely insulting.
The cover was originally expected to be an accessory, interior has been upgraded significantly. Im with you on the price increase, i was personally expecting a 25% increase but 50% for the base is more than expected.
Seeing a truck like that is amazing and since I’m a tesla lover this is the best truck (electric truck and truck) I’ve seen in the entire world. A lot of people making electric cars gonna have big comp with tesla and def rivian and the hummer ev
Don’t worry about the hummer. GM only made a few. Now they are years behind schedule and the executives are robbing the company blind with stock buybacks and bonuses.
I really hope this ushers in a new era or Cyber vehicles. Cybertruck, Cybercar, Cyberbike, Cyberboat, Ballistic Armored Cybertruck, Cybertruck Snowtread Edition, Cybertrike (like a Polaris Slingshot), and then Cyber appliances. Cyberfridge, Cyberblender, Cyberwasher, Cybertoaster, Cyberpanini Grill.... the list goes on...
@@VulpineCortex"corporate dysphoria" is when you don't like a certain design aesthetic ig. You may not like it, but many (like me and the commenter) would very much appreciate the cyber theme becoming more than just a sci-fi concept. Opinions exist. Respect them.
@@Solotocius not a "certain design aesthetic" but everything being done by a single company. Also the fact that the original is a pseudofuturistic idea put forward by an oligarch really doesn't help. I wouldn't call it dystopian if it wasn't made on the order of a person like Elon.
@@VulpineCortex good point; however I've seen your other comments here. You ARE talking about the aesthetics, as you make it very clear how much you hate it.
I’ve only been around for 35 years, but until today, I’ve never seen a car advertisement make me want to buy their car more. Seriously buying lotto tickets this weekend
