I think the long-term outcome of Amanda’s defeat will be very similar to what GSP went through after losing to Serra. Maybe her ego got the best of her and she underestimated Peña, but she’s been talking hella shit about Amanda ever since the fight (1st real mom champ? Cmon..) and Amanda will come back as hungry as you see her in this vid and it will be a completely different fight. We shall see

@@sarairuiz2369 it was from cyborgs youtbe channel i think, they took it down cause of the backlash they received but it was after the Spencer fight and backstage she talks to Dana but they edit it and cut stuff out to make Dana and the UFC look bad. It wasn't Cyrborgs doing, I believe it was someone on her team doing it and she apologized for it

This is what I don’t understand. Cyborg had this long ass win streak and actually defended her belt twice and Dana denied her a rematch. Weili had ONE defense and it was her toughest fight. Most people thought she lost to Joanna. And she got an automatic rematch after rose knocked her out!!!🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Perhaps I am missing something, but it seems to me like the fight was called early. Cyborg did not seem to be knocked out cold or completely incapacitated when the fight was called.
Ronda knew she could not compete against CYBORG and the UFC would never let his paper champion get trashed, but they did need to wait till CYBORG was enough past her prime that she was beatable, which by the time of this fight it was clear.
I thought it after the fight and I still feel the same way, if cyborg got a rematch with Amanda I believe she beats her. Her biggest mistake in the fight was underestimating her power and never thought Amanda would stand and bang with her and also I believe she underestimated Amanda's power wpuld effect her. I’m a big Valentina fan and her technical skills are even beyond Amanda’s, but in terms of accolades, resume, dominance, Amanda is the GOAT, unquestionably. Her first loss in 8 years does not change that.
