@@dannyinfinity8311 Do you know why he got fired? no but ofc you people have to make such a scene, we still don't know why he was fired should blame disney for it no ,until we get further details of what have happend for all that wwe could know he might of done something bad who knows but until then we stfu and enjoy the series,
@@joshuarenard3147 I make a scene? I literally just said he got fired from Disney. I blame Disney because Disney makes bad / poor decisions especially financial situations. As for the creator he got harassed by fans who love the show hated him which probably caused him to stay away from the media for good while. I wasn’t one who caused a scene, it’s the people who are blinded with nostalgia. I’m enjoying the show just fine idk if we’re going to get a season 3 of this show but season 2 is on its way.
@@Fei-Chanhe has a field around his body that redirects the concussive beam from his eyes. That's why he and his brothers are immune to each other's energy outputs. His neck is not supporting him against the recoil but likely the field around his entire body.
@@shido_rimru_Canon explanation in the comics is that his eyes act as miniature portals to a dimension of exotic particles that when enter our dimension transform into a beam of pure force.
@@ohmaplaymakerwell, I'm pretty sure his visor can tweak settings for his beam, so he can control it. Its kinda like when I was using my dad's leaf blower and I turned it on and I jumped to see if it would sling me back.
just for clarification, not laser, but concussive force blast, like creating a thousand mega punches of varying degrees. The force of the concussive blast is what sends him backward. Thanks.
"Optic blast" not laser. The way his power works is that his eyes are solar powered mini-portals to a realm of pure kinetic energy (fans call it "the punch dimension"). In effect, this makes his irises emit continuous beams of heatless kinetic force. His eyes push away everything he looks at. The only known transparent material that blocks the effect is Ruby-Quartz (used in his visor and sunglasses). He has a secondary mutation that adapts his inner eyelid to also block the effect. He can't consciously control the power due to a childhood head injury, forcing him to always wear eyewear.
@@NebulaKat345😂😂. Then gets KOed again in 2 and killed in 3 lol. Not to mention everyone in the team is basically useless most of the time save Wolverine.
@@spongeman1512 Not make the F4 a family would be the equivalent of not having Batman movie being a dark noir drama or Spider Man movie not being a teenage drama. It's all part of the characters and who they are.
Unfortunately, I think they had big plans for T'Challa to be the next Steve Rogers until Chadwick passed away. You could tell they were getting ready to set up T'Challa as a major lynchpin figure like Steve. Fortunately though, I think Cyclops has the potential to be the next Steve Rogers-like figure to counter Dr. Strange as the potentially new Tony Stark-like figure.
@@QilinsReverseScaleGlaze? Lol naw, he's been this nice, MCU and other X-Men media after the 90s just seemed to have an obsession with wolverine. This the same dude who had 26 plans to beat the juggernaut as contingency, got him on number 13. Hopefully we get more cyclops love.
I have been saying for yrs how cyclops’ powers could be used in a variety of ways. was already the middle of writing a fan fiction story of cyclops where he uses his optic blasts in resourceful ways such as using the force to go from one point to another, slight high jump, climbing up walls(depending on the wall), ordinary objects being put to unique use by use of optic blasts, etc etc.
To those who may be wondering..It is not a laser in the traditional sense. It is a concussive blast (--Cyclops' eyes are portals to a dimension that has an infinite supply of optic beams that can be physically touched..and can travel at the speed of light. It does not burn to the touch, but punches you at varying degrees of force. He has to wear ruby quartz glasses which can contain the beams when he opens his portal eyes. He uses his specialized ruby quartz visor (shown in the video) to adjust/control the beam's strength / intensity). Without the glasses he can't open his eyes without causing some sort of massive devastation.
it's why mr sinister wanted him and his genetics so badly. he theorizes his eyes siphon the optic blasts from another dimension. his eyes are literal portals to some other plane of existence.
I believe he has some control over how much power he's letting out, but can't actually stop it, so there's different versions and not like just 100% all the time
I'm not trying to correct you or anything but in the origin, It's energy. The visor let's him adjust the size to look like lasers. I remembered it was professor x that helped him and trained him to be a leader. Fox did him dirty and killed him off.
A "NOT!" joke! Now it really feels like the 90s! (Also, a nice callback to an older episode where he did the same thing to a Sentinel. "Surrender, mutant." "Of course. Not!!")
I can’t believe how awesome Cyclops is now. Before this, his most memorable quote was the infamous F-bomb from the Dark Phoenix movie. Now, he is the unironically cool dad of the team.
Bad ideas: 5) Riding the roller coaster at a theme park after eating. 4) Disturbing a wasp’s nest. 3) Borrowing money from known criminals. 2) Spitting into the wind. 1) Taking Cyclops’ visor off if you’re a bad guy!
@@bruhmoment1761They probably thought he needed the visor to use his powers since they saw him always touching it to unleash the beams. They are not very smart.
People tend to forget that Cyclops has a secondary mutant power in addition to his Optic Blasts and that is his incredible spatial awareness ability. Cyclops possesses an uncanny sense of trigonometry which he uses to describe his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. Cyclops has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. This is commonly called a "banked shot" when applied to his talent. Cyclops has been observed causing beams to reflect from over a dozen surfaces in the course of one blast and still hit his intended target accurately. It is his sense of superhumanly enhanced spatial awareness that allows him to perform these feats as well.
I absolutely love this fight scene, particularly how Cyclops uses recoil from his eye beams to schmoove around the area. :D I don't think I've seen anything like that before for Scott.
people in the comments forgetting that cyclops' eye beams are not lasers. it's a concussive blast. it can't burn. it's pure force. that's why he can push himself backwards if he wants to and do other tricks with it.
As for the blasts cutting stuff that has to do with his visor adjusting the blast being emitted from the eyes so it’s something more like a high pressure water jet instead of the usual water cannon I believe
Love how the Daily Bugle page has a ref to the original show when Spider-Man did a cross over. And the answer is no. Peter is not a mutant by the X-Men definition.
Peter is a 'mutate,' which is a human who gained powers through external influence. The term was introduced in 1969 in a Thor comic, but it's never really entered the common parlance.
This is like a quintessential character introduction scene ever. Even if you never seen any other X-men property this is perfect demonstration of who Scott is when his on a job.
What I love about this is the amount of creativity Cyclops have using his power. Using his beams to be more mobile and fights in close combat with no worries even his powers are meant for mid-long range.
@@GlidingGlider Exactly. I always read and heard that cyclops was a extremely capable fighter but shows never showed it until now. Im Glad the writers of this show finally showed the real cyclops
I like how they show how truly experience he is in fighting with his powers. Instead of using his optic blasts simply for ranged attacks he also uses the thrust generated by the blast to push himself around. Truly shows he must’ve spent hundreds of hours practicing such moves.
0:20 He seems to have learned some techniques from "Children of the Atom". This animation is really good. Oh, and I swear that sound effect (0:38) is from RoboCop.
Got to love how this show seemingly is the only one to know how to get cyclops right. The one with “Teen Cyclops” came close, but one can hope the animated series does well enough that they will attempt to reboot X-men (or I suppose it will start and end with Wolverine featuring Deadpool 3).
As a young kid watching X-Men I thought Wolverine was cool and cyclops was a nerd so Wolverine should be in charge. As I grew up and re-wached the show I thought"omg Wolverine is going to get everyone killed..good thing cyclops is in charge!"
Now, that's the Cyclops I know! Tactical, confidant, and truly a natural born leader. Slim's in good hands with Ray Chase voicing him. Norm Spencer would be proud. 😉
Plot Twist: The supposed Sentinel technology, specifically the arm cannons, actually came from Mega Man. (Marvel and Capcom DO know one another, after all!)
Now I wished the Ruby Spears Mega Man cartoon crossover with X-Men. Like hell a bunch of Capcom games had cheessy 90s american cartoons. Marvel made a bunch of 90s animated series with hammy as hell dialogue. Just saying, we could of had an animated show based on Marvel vs. Capcom in the late 90s on Fox Kids
Fun fact: Cyclop's beam without the visor doesn't come out like a single stream of beam but actually affects a whole radius of an area. It's basically a nuke of pure concussive energy.
I usually enjoy watching shows weekly, gives me something to look forward to. With how good this show is, I just wanna binge the whole thing in one day 🤣
I'm so glad they captured how his lasers work. For those who don't know they aren't like laser bolts from star wars or light sabers. It's like kinetic force which is why people are okay getting hit by it. It's like a hard punch to a gut. But the output an determine how strong it hits.
@@paolopasaol9700 What confuses me is he’s killed people with his optic beam lots of times in the comics and I don’t want the result of this version Of Cyclops killing his enemies.
Finally Scott getting treated right, such a badass character that lost his chance in spotlight because Hugh Jackman became Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men became background characters.
