I think why I always admired and respected Cyndi Lauper is because she's an artist that was different, but still herself. Also, because she had class unlike a certain other artist of that era. Cyndi's music was part of my childhood. A lady with a uniquely great voice and style to her vocals unlike anyone else.
I love that she came to the conclusion that rather than trying to blend in with everybody else it was best just to be herself. And all of us that love her music are grateful she did.
Love that BBC voice ... I think the music industry reveal show is 'Behind the Scenes' ... Check out Andrew Cotter's version on his dogs' (Mabel & Olive) getting famous during the pandemic.
wow idk that Entertainment Tonight existed back in the 80s! Its so cool to see them interview one of the most iconic 80s stars during her prime! I wonder if there was an interview with Madonna back then...
I said, Come box boat NOA tonight. Because Afraid. Only Afraid.
She exaggerated her craziness and accent. If you watch some of her early interviews she would sometimes talk and act normally. This all pretty much went away in the 90's.
