Still enjoying the videos, so thanks for doing them.I subscribed a while back. Thanks also for the chronographing of the ammo. This is very useful in determining the most consistent ammo in terms of S.D.👍🏻
Glad you like them I did notice while watching other channels that no one gives this information and that’s something I like to know also that’s why I do it. Many more to come for sure
@@BROTUNED I always keep an eye out for your vids.,👍🏻Actually, the Gun Viking channel from Norway chronographs his ammo tests. This gent. uses a Tikka Tix....I have a 457 Synthetic and really like it.Thanks again.👍🏻
I just did the same test yesterday with Eley Team. 10 shot fouling for an average FPS: 1114 with an SD: 4.9 Did 4 five shot groups that averaged to .318” Not bad for cheaper than Match or Tenex. Did not test yet at 100 yards - will this coming weekend. Shots fired from CZ457 with a 21” Lilja Barrel.
@@BROTUNED I've tested other ammunition at different temps and do get different MV. I.E: Eley Tenex at 45 degrees: 1042 fps w/SD: 6.6; 56 degrees: 1075 fps w/SD: 6.1 AND at 70 degrees: 1117 fps w/SD: 6.3. I can confirm that temps do make a difference. I always try to chrono the ammo i'm using at different temps.
Your CZ "likes" the ELEY Team about as much as mine does ( Same rifle and colour), which is to say not so much. Might I suggest you try the RWS line starting at Club, then Rifle Match, Rifle Match S, Special Match, and then if you can get it, their Biathlon Special Match and Biathlon Competition, and then lastly R50 Subsonic ( almost impossible to find), and it's cousin R100 Supersonic. They also have a new RWS R Plus Long Range coming out that I'm eager to try. My Rifle loves the RWS line, for the mostpart. Yours may, too, but rimfire rifles and rimfire ammo are about as quirky as it gets. If my Centrefire rifles I load for were as persnickety as rimfire match rifles are, I'd probably stick to Skeet Shooting!! I've had ammo do similar things to yours in this video: 5 amazing foulers, or after foulers (10-15 shots) a good to amazing group, immediately followed by a dismal group in the 5 rounds that are the next row in the box. Aarrgghh. Tried weighing, miking rim thickness, electric resistance. Weighing seems to weed out the worst offenders ( usually because rimfire bullets are swaged and can be surprisingly inconsistent. ) Best of Luck. Great videos. Love the content. Keep it up. Shoot Straight!
Great video mate, I just picked up 2 boxes of team to try in my LRP next weekend, getting decent supply of match 22 here in Aus is a bit difficult at the moment.
Hey bro I shoot 50yrds at the spent 22 casings that will tighten up your shooting and you will be the only one to make a video like that just make a hole in the target and put the 22 hull in the same me and my buddy drive them all the time at 50 yrds. All you will have to shoot is the same diameter as your bullet. Beagleman
Do you account for the 10ths or 100ths of an inch you lose to that flapping target paper? It's shaking like a dog passing a bone... lol That chronograph data is gold though.
You heard right! That’s Canadian prices though. Cz I believe is bringing it back in a black stock with the same specs. I guess it was a hit and people have been asking for it back
Think your group sizes are a bit off. Not sure what you are using to measure them. The first two shots you took says .11”…. they rounds aren’t even touching. It’s literally impossible for it to be .11. Absolute best case is .22 center to center…
