CZ P10S Vs Sig P365 

Been saying it since 2013 CZ is here to stay. I have been amazed by their level of ergonomics and design. Now I own 7 CZ's :)

I have both. Addicted to that P-10 S. It just feels so good in my little baby hands and it shoots like a bigger pistol. Definitely my EDC.

I carry a P10S daily. It’s a little heavy but the trigger is SWEET. HUGE CZ fan.

Nice intro! Both are solid choices and I've always had great luck w/DeSantis, too. These combos remind me of happy hour and they are serving surf & turf!

Interesting timing of this video for me. I’ve been thinking about giving them the P10S a second chance. After two P365 and one P365xl - I’ve decided that they are just not for me. Thank you very much for the video.

Thanks for the comparison! I think I will try and find a P10S and try it, so I can compare to my 365, which till now has been my EDC concealed choice winner. Your excitement was contagious.

I have the 10S and a 365 that I turned into a 365X with the xl grip module. Both are great carry pieces for sure.

Had the p365 and the xl version, good weapons. Now own the CZ P10S . I get more of everything with this weapon. More shootability, more build quality, better trigger, and all at a lower price. Just my 2cents

Several years ago I handled the P365 at the range, never shot it because I was surprised how small it was. I've been carrying the P10S for about 8 months now after adding the Hyve +3 mag extension and the Holosun 507C which replaced my P10C with irons. The P10S and the P10C also fit into my P10F holster just like downtown! 😁

I wish the 92 compact Elite LTT Beretta would get some love. For an EDC, it feels right, and re-holstering, you can put your thumb on the hammer as an extra safety check. In my opinion, that helps new /old gun owners feel more comfortable carrying. Love your content!!

Exactly. Everyone's got different preferences and stick to it but I think a big advantage is when your Compact and your subcompact and your full-size all have the same ergonomics and the same safety and therefore the same muscle memory and controls. Most gun enthusiasts have one of every size class and to be able to take the same magazines and even be able to order the same type of sites is a huge advantage. Personally a few years back ( before the P10 series was released ) I chose to convert my eclectic pistol collection to CZ Rami, Compact and spo1. I even expanded to a phantom for a full-size polymer and a compact clone for a alternative cheap truck gun. All the same ergonomics and magazines and all function flawlessly. And then there is the P-07 which I find to be the bridge between the 75 series and the P10 series. It shares some relationship to both series of pistols.

Great comparo as always. Preference depends subjectively on person and ultimate objective. For me I carry P365 for the sole purpose of easy concealability and weight with still adequate fire power. I can draw IWB and shoot it with 1.2 sec split and hit A zone so I'm very happy with it!!! No failures with defensive loads (300) rds and FMJ (600) rds. It's a summer carry with cargo shorts and t-shirt.

Out of respect a friend whom HATES 9mm fired my p10s, he handed it back and said 'When you handed me that thing i dreaded it because i cant shoot a 9mm worth a shit. I cant believe how accurate that thing is! I did better with it cold than my FN that ive had for 20 years.'

Love them both. They are great firearms.

Enjoyed your take. I own both guns as well. I like how easy it is to conceal the P365 and for close in shooting it works great. Just me personally, I can’t shoot consistently accurate with it over 50’. The P10S, I’ve found it great for both close shooting and distance shooting. I’m consistently accurate with at distances as opposed to the P365. The P10S is heavier and slightly tougher to conceal but, IMO and in my experience, it’s well worth it for the accuracy and added capacity over the P365. Both are great guns, no question. For me, the P10S is just a more substantial gun that is easier to shoot accurately and I carry daily while the P365 is my deep cover, run to the store pocket gun.

I have a p365 and have changed the mag release. I am right handed and own a VP9SK also and love the paddle.

My EDC is a p10c optics ready (no red dot but it was the only one the store had so I got it). I'm 6ft and 245ish lbs and I love it. Almost the exact same size as a G19 in every dimension. I have to wear shirts more on the loose side to conceal better so I've been looking to get a p10s. Held a p365xl in a store the other day and the grip just feels a bit too dainty to me, not smack talking, I know quite a few people that carry some variant of the p365 and they had nothing but good things to say about it. I just like a carry weapon to have a bit more meat on the grip for my large-ish hands.

I have both and like both. I prefer to carry the CZ as well. If I'm on my motorcycle the Sig fits in the front carry space I have. My wife carries the HK VP9sk which is the same size as the CZ. All 3 work well. The Sig would be our least likely to shoot at the range because of the (muzzle flip). The CZ and HK handle more like a bigger weapon. Great vid

would you recommend to use CZ +2 polymer mag pads for better grip for big hands?

Lock n loaded your the man, maybe you can tell me I heard you can take a 365xl 15 round mag and it will fit In Czp10s and cycle a round??

My EDC is a P10S. My wife's is a P365XL. My alternate EDC is a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9, chosen because it's a little slimmer, although I carry two spare magazines instead of just one to make up for the round count deficit.

I know what you mean about smaller guns. I’m not a fan of either 3-finger grips or pinky rests. So I lived with my Walther PPS until I was rewarded with Sig’s P365xl. I get your other points but I’m smaller and still able to manipulate it easily. And it looks great with a Holosun 507k on top.

Thanks for that video! I am wondering - is your CZ P10S's slide a bit wobbly too? Mine, when in forward position (with or without a round in a chamber) it clicks a bit left-right. Is it normal?

I've had the 365XL for a bit now and as well as I can shoot it, it's just so small in my hands, I have very muscular and good sized mits and it's just never been a comfortable shooter in my hands, accurate and again, I can shoot it well but I just ordered the p10s based on my love of the P-07 I've been shooting a while now, different pistols of course but I am just bit now by the CZ bug, I have the Scorpion as well and that thing is just as fun as it gets. All of that said I look forward to getting the p10s in, I got the optics ready version so I can put an optic on it as I run the Romeo Zero on my XL now that my Holusun 507k broke on me. Looking very much forward to getting some range time and if anyone has a suggestion for an optic for the p10s platform, I'd love to hear it. Always love your stuff here on LnL Radio 1.

It’s interesting that the term lock and load came from a quote in a John Wayne movie “the Sands of Iwo Jima”. The script said load and lock but John misspoke and said lock and load. It has been a buzzword in the firearms community ever since. Thanks John…👍

He is right, it's about your preference. I love the P10 Series guns. I have a P10C and a S, love the triggers.

The problem in Israel is that we have very, very strict gun rules (where our "neighbors" have none and not treated much as criminals for that when illegal arms found on them) and those who can carry have one gun to carry. I bought the P10C 5 years ago and it shoots great. I carry it all the time and its quite heavy and bulky. I wanted to go for something smaller and tried the 365X and XL, they both shoot great but I have found myself shooting better with the XL, which seems like the best of both worlds. I still have hard time moving away from the C to the XL, because the C feels like a gun where as the XL feels like a toy. I guess its just a matter of getting used to. I have not yet made a choice, but I think I will do it soon. otherwise I would have the C, S, F and many others. I wish I could live in the US :) Thanks again!

Couldn’t put better myself 365/365xl is the smallest gun you can shoot effect on a consistent basis to carry totally I agree got me want to try a CZ- subcompact now lol I had a Czp10c and firing pin broke under 400 rounds

Shield plus 2.0 is perfect and man that New trigger is killer it’s rite there with cz.

The CZs looks better but it's definitely almost as big as a G19 and sure you can use the bigger mags but CZ won't even make sleeves so it will fit properly. I carry the Hellcat or a Shield 2.0 but if they made the CZ P10s in 40c I would definitely buy one👍

What about a Sig P320 compact vs CZ P10s? Would you consider the P320 compact to big? The P320 would give a person more options for ammo capacity and grip size.

I carry the xl but didn’t like how small regular P365 grip was.

Not sold on CZ, went to the range first time with it, did not eject 4 rounds out of 75 , different manufacturers of ammo. Has anyone else had this issue, and what did you do about it?

The muzzle flip seemed significantly greater with the 365. (the CZ has a manly trigger guard I tell you what)

If you could buy one gun to do everything for you(i.e home defense and concealed carry), what would you choose?

I just recently acquired the P10S & ABSOLUTELY Love it... ALMOST as good as my GLOCK'S.. & as far as ACCURATE the P10S is INSANE how accurate it is... as far as me shooting it.. Actually I can shoot it better than my GLOCK'S...!!!

I carry the P10S. I prefer a slightly larger pistol. I'm sure the Sig is a fine pistol, but the P10S is just where it's at for me.

The CZ us a good gun for sure. The Sig is just better for deep concealed carry in a pocket, IWB, or pocket. If you can’t carry OWB the CZ is not a better choice. For ankle, pocket, or IWB the Sig is better.

If you want a more substantial feeling gun, you put a Hogue Handall beavertail grip on it and it fills the hand better. You look like a pretty big guy with bigger hands, so I can see why you might want the CZ. I'm a smaller person with smaller hands, so the P365 is perfect. I got the 380 variant, which of course makes it much more pleasant to shoot. Am I giving up much in stopping power? Not so much with 10 rounds at my disposal. Modern ammo makes it possible to have a very effective self defense round available. I've seen videos of people hitting targets out to 80 yards pretty consistently, so accuracy is surely not an issue. CZ makes some of the greatest pistols in the world undoubtedly, but none small enough for me to carry comfortably.

Sig 365 x is my choice 80 percent of the time, the CZ p10s is my change up. Both quality firearms, I just prefer the Sigs grip.

Have no experience shooting the P-10s. I use the P365 as my motorcycle firearm. Comfortable while riding and I can can a 15 round magazine for a backup.

Also agree with your prospective. The p365 is great carry but as far as fit, finish, feel and most importantly, accuracy. I’ll just say it as it is, the p10s 💩s all over the p365.

Another video compairing another gun to the P365 interinsting I have seen many my brother had 2 CZ's are great guns very accurate but the 2 models my brother had where very hard to rack the slide and the take town was not not easy and for me the take down should be easy the p365 is a close range ccw the bottom line the best overall ccw is the one you feel the most comfortable with and shoot the best I don't like Glocks but that's my opinion I don't think wrong for liking Glocks they are great guns just not for me no manual safety that is a must for me .

How's the trigger on the zig?

I have both. I carry the P10-S more. I shoot it the best also. My Shield Plus is also carried more than my p365X. I shoot the Shield Plus better than the p365. I am a CZ fangirl though. I use my p365X more as a training tool now to get kinks out of my shooting style.

My preference is the Rami

I did owned the P365 but keep going away from it as a daily carry... Pick up a month ago the CZ P10S and has become my main carry piece

Great video as always, while I love my p365, I would be hard pressed to sing its praises if I had a PHAT WMG commander lol. Honestly, I don’t get why you had so much hate for your p365 videos. Not every gun is going to work for every person. Which is why we have so many options these days.

With the standard 10 round mag, you would see a big difference in height. Making the P365 far easier to conceal.

Sig 365 is too small for me. My most often conceal carry is the Hellcat.

CZ is the EDC for me.

I have and carry both pistols but, I shoot the CZ P10S better... maybe because I have more time behind the CZ.

It would be fair to compare the P365 to P10M

You are showing the P365 with the longer 12 round mag, which makes it a larger, heavier, & thus far less pocket-able gun. With the 10 rd. mag in, the P365 is a very small gun and is in another Class of gun, which the CZ P10S is not in. Thickness and weight - 2 huge factors in CCW. Again the Sig wins huge again. Thickness matters a lot for printing. Weight matters a lot for all day carry. I will not carry a big gun, like the P10S, because of these considerations. At the range I enjoy shooting my 2nd Gen P10C with a trigger that is close to a PPQ (my 1st Gen had a poor gritty trigger and no hump next to the mag release, thus the mags would drop out during IDPA competition), my Ruger SR9c (same size as the P10S only the SR9c has a lower bore axis, is lighter & thinner & shoots like a bigger gun like the P10S, & also has a crisp trigger, so shots on target are great). So even though I love my SR9c, I'll take the P365 any and all day. It even shoots pretty good for the size of it. Note that using a hogue grip improves grip & soaks up recoil. My Kimber Micro 9 with a hogue grip is even lighter, thinner, & has similar recoil, & also shoots like the P365, so I find taking the Micro 9 more & more, plus it has a great 1911-ish trigger. The P365 & P365 XL both have gritty triggers, but does not seem to affect accuracy. I have put a Holosun 509C X2 & Crimson Trace LTG-772 light on the P365 XL & now is a very accurate pistol, but is not suitable for pocket carry, but goes well in my shoulder holster.

75 C fan here because I like a hammer.

I own both, but only carry the p365 because I only pocket carry abs simply cannot fit the cz in any of my pants pockets... if I lived where the climate dictated wearing jackets I’d own carry the cz every day.
