Professor Levin I love your personality, strong credentials, million tons of knowledge in physics from Statics, dynamics, and etc..I am a professional license engineer for almost 50 years, I still watch your teachings via your Facebook and U-tubes, I had been thinking to visit you at MIT Campus,so finally I traveled to Cambridge during the 2024 commencement graduation as a visitor. I looked and asked many students about how I can reach you, but no luck..still thinking to see you personally to appreciate what you have done….teaching millions of students directly or indirectly, so much proud of you…God bless you as always….
@@lecturesbywalterlewin.they9259 My teachers never did such appealing demonstrations in the class to show the beauty that lies in the world of physics unlike you... And I agree that they are criminals.
that's an happy occassion that you are still with us. ❤️ Whats more interesting to have a physics educator teaching his students located all across the globe, specially from India. 🙂😊🇮🇳
happpppy hope you have a wonderful day ...we love you all the way from South Africa your lectures are an inspiration and to be honest very helpful since we are writing Mechanics and optics soon .....FOR THE LOVE OF PHYSICS !!..we are thankful
Professor, your dedication and guidance have been a beacon of hope for countless students in my country, helping them achieve their dreams of passing the Jee exam. Wishing you a long and healthy life, filled with the same kindness and wisdom you've shared with so many.
My existence and D-Day are also connected in a way...my father was among the first waves on Omaha Beach that day. He never spoke of it...I found out after he passed away in 1989. Whenever "The Longest Day" was on TV, he'd watch it intently...with tears streaming down his cheeks. I wish I had known why. The fact he survived the horrors of that day is part of why I am writing to you now.
Long long long happy happy happy life sir , even if I’m still crawling in physics , you helped me enormously in preventing short circuits in my brain 🌝 ,, thank you
Thank you Professor Lewin for such a poignant reminder of this extremely important date. It appears that many people today have forgotten the horrors and what was at stake 80 years ago.
On 9 june there's iat exam after that I can step forward on my way of becoming a physicist. You have been a great inspiration for me. I love watching your lectures. Thank you
Thank you professor for sharing. I understand you, you are an old man who has experienced hardships but is full of wisdom. I read about some of your experiences through Google and I know that World War II took a huge toll on you and your family. Your achievements are impressive and thank you again for the lecture. Wish you all the best.
Yes sir, and we thank the men and women responsible for that today. God bless you all. Thank you as well Mr. Lewin for the remembrance and we are glad you are still with us, as you will always be, in our hearts.

Good morning/evening professor. Have you gotten the information about the scams and leaks that have taken place on massive scale, in 2024's NEET exam and results?
Hey Professor Walter! I'm in 12th grade from India. I have read your book "For the Love of Physics" and have been watching your lectures and bi-weekly videos since 2021. I am extremely grateful to you for developing my love for physics. I'll be giving the JEE and hope to have your well wishes. Wishing you good health and happiness always.
Respected Sir can you please tell that can physics be studied only by only reading book or lectures are necessary and also if you like please make a small video on how you saw physics and studied it as a kid ( It would be pleasure if you read the full comment) 😊
hello sir,I am from pakistan .there are entrance tests of universities going on .they give various questions.there are topic like combinations of resistors/inductors/capacitors/springs ,colom forces, current, voltage, solids, veocities of objects, work, lenses diffraction, theory of relativity asked in them.i know all the questions have some concept hidden in them.can you guide how do i tackle them?

Dear Professor Suppose we confine charge positive or Negative ions in A Tungsten cube now we move a grounded Metal wire towards it and away from it to induce current in the wire. Now we apply strong magnets to levitate the metal plate which is composed of many sheets of metal filled with strong Dielectric coating of Diamonds. And a spring is attached so that the net work done in one cycle of moving closer and away from cube is theoretically Zero and friction too is zero due to magnetic levitation.I don't know the efficiency of such experiment but you need to verify as I've got no clue.❤
Hi sir, jivesh here from India, I watch your lectures of physics and I really love them, they made me love physics and made physics one of my favorite subject! I know it is practically not possible for you to do this for everyone, but still I'm requesting you with a little hope..I am not financially capable of purchasing your book, (since I'm a student) can you please do a little favor for me to gift that book to me? I promise I'll learn a lot from your book, I would have downloaded your book from internet sources, but it's not convenient to read from a small sreen! I hope you will help me sir! By the way, LOVE FROM INDIA ❤❤

And professor I'm on the darkest point of life. Battling mental illness academic failures , suicidal thoughts 💭 self doubt, hatred from all people, distrust of parents. No longer passionate about anything dunno how many days I would be able to fight 😭
I understand you, but I hope you can get out of this pain as soon as possible. Sometimes I am in pain, but my parents don't understand me. I can only tell my friends that they are indeed very good. They won't hit you like their elders who don't understand, but will comfort you. So if you're in pain, I don't mind being your listening ear. lol, I hope you can get out of the haze as soon as possible.
@@PronayKhan-wz8jd even if you don't have friends, befriend the world, because despite all of our failures, the soil doesn't abandon our feet, and the plants never stop growing, and dogs never stop being our companions, why do they give us so much love despite us having nothing to prove to them? They all believe in us, the world believes in you and it believes that you are worthy of so many things, to the world, staying alive is already a big feat. You are alive, you have the chance to notice the world and love the world back, you have the chance to sit on the soil, you have the chance to drink water, you have the chance to pet a dog, and you'll never get this chance ever again, so befriend the earth and enjoy its gifts, because in this capitalist age, people are too busy being cruel and using people less fortunate than them as stepping stones, no matter how much these cruel people try to convince you, there's so much more to life than this rat race to success, having a humble and comfortable life can be filled with joy too if you learn to befriend the earth

And I'm your friend. I hope you are. Yesterday I was on a meeting and I met a girlfriend. She is Physics Teacher. She told us, that she is happy because her school will buy a Schwing-Kreis. Swing Circle. It is funny. I tried to follow her explanations and thougt, that Physicists are very nice. Because they have much patience. It is ver difficult to explain Physics experiments to uneducated people. Walter I think you are still alive, because you have much patience.
ofcoz we are friends - I do not know what a Swing Circle is. I am still alive because my mother was not jewish. My father's family was murdered. He went in hiding and he luckiky survived.
Walter, you have the patience of a saint. It is only luck to survive a World War. Millions of people died. And Millions of people were murdered. I'm very happy that you wrote to me and that you are alive and healthy. I still love you and your lectures.

The D-Day operation of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. The operation, given the codename OVERLORD, delivered five naval assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy, France.

Before you decide to buy a book from me *I strongly suggest you get a free copy using the pdf file.* fiisikis.weebly.com/uploads/5/4/9/3/54939617/for_the_love_of_physics.pdf You should also consider to buy my book at amazon in your country. *I have been told that in India you can get my book from Amazon and Flipkart for $4.50* These books do not contain the 15 colored photo index (that's why they are so cheap); the pdf file does not include that either. If you can afford it, of course, I am willing to send you a signed copy of my book with *a special note for you + a signed picture of me, which will also have your name on it,* but the price is high as I pay 30% tax here in the US of your payment. Ofcoz the book that I send you contains the photo index. Your total costs for 1 paperback copy + a signed copy of my picture: US $40; Europe, South America, Brazil, Canada, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh Tanzania & India $65; Middle East & Asia: Japan, Philippines, China, Thailand & Australia $80. I make zero money on these sales, I sell them for what they cost me. You should transfer the money to my PayPal account (see below). Please let me know in PayPal your name and complete address and *which name I should use for my note in your book and on my picture.* *For those of you who only want a signed copy of my picture, swinging from the pendulum,* with your name on it as well, it will cost you *$13 for 1 copy* (that includes postage). It's the same price for all countries. *You should send me on PayPal your complete address and the name you want me to write on the picture.* Please transfer the $13 to my PayPal account which is lewin-physics@physics.comcastbiz.net. *Keep in mind that you must first enter PayPal and then my account.*
