The older I get, the more stunned and amazed I am, by the sacrifices made by these brave, heroic men. To march into the Hell of machine gun rounds and high explosives, makes me realise and appreciate what those heroes did. May they lie sweetly at rest.

Really good Airfix - but I suspect hardcore modellers will be calling our for better sanding / filing on the seams on the model soldiers shown! You know how perfectionist they can be.

Bravo zulu on the video Airfix. Sadly war once again looms over the continent of Europe but like the Allied Forces on DDay, there is strength in numbers as British, Canadian and US forces helped turn the tide of war. Semper Fidelis.

Very succinct and accurate tube Bravo airfix

Detail about 518 squadron met reports and Captain Stag good . Was D Day ever going to be a walk over ? No . 10, 000 casualties is very sad but losses were estimated at 30,000. It was a success . The Battle for Normandy was bloody and difficult . German troops were determined and fought hard inspite of superior allied air power. One can only feel gratitude for the men who fought for our freedom .

How about some new British ships? Erebus, updated Warspite?

You should re-tool or release new figure set's. It's not all about armour and aircraft modellers.
