Hi Davie!! Letting you know that this week I finished fishing in the North Carolina in the Smokey Mountains! I tied the olive version and it was dynamite!!! I saw fish rising….put on the Dynamite harry and the gorgeous Brookies loved the pattern! Nothing like catching trout on a Fly, much patience casting exact location of rise, Boom caught 3. Thank you, I will be in on this monthly draw, would love the box, if not, I will be tying some for my box, I also gave away some spares to other fisherman on the river!

Thanks for introducing me to this style of fly Davie, I've tied some up in a few variations and I have to say they've been great, very effective and unlike a lot of my dry flies they just keep on floating! 😅 Cheers!

I really like this pattern. Quick tie and still looks great. Going to tie a lot of those for next season. I have been a fly fisher for many years but only started dry fly fishing this summer. Decided to put a regular fly line on my euro nymphing rod so I could use it when I see rises. I have to say, never thought my Sage esn 10' 3 weight would be so versatile.

That would be a great box to win. Still I want "the Rodant" and my DH's arent too bad. I love the Irish Gnat. Looks like a Green Drake spinner what we call a Coffin Fly. Hi Davie, when I saw your demo on the olive DH, I tied up a couple and caught a lovely 15inch Brownie from the thinnest of water during the long dry spell. It is spate water and was almost on its bones, but for whatever reason and with no visible hatch, the fish took a fancy to it. The numerous variations are brilliant. Many thanks

Very enjoyable to see and thanks. I'd never heard of this pattern till I saw one of your clips. it's a great natural abstract looking fly and it looks really ready for work. I'd like to try my hand with the pattern. A real innovation by the looks of things. :-)
