no, thankfully many are stupid with a low IQ; or many are small and skinny like Charles Manson for example. His point was that Suge is rare, he is big, smart and psychopathic.@@underworldfilms86
Suge was a master of creating that persona for himself. Death Row likely wouldn't have existed without THAT Suge, and I think any true fan of hip-hop can respect that about him.
I had wish Surge took a different direction and skool those young brothers who was getting out of jail ,banging, to the music how it works and build something specail postive.
yeah we would not fear Death row if it was not for suge i mean Puffy had bad boy and that name did not get them on the notorious rap label list suge and his persona did that and snoop shooting a rival gang member
He has not been perfect (no one is) but Suge did what he had to do for them to rise. Suge is about Black family, black business, black love and black love is Black Power. The fall of Death Row is much bigger than Suge Knight and his rights, or wrongs and much bigger than the Death Row artist. Suge had a master plan that was doomed from the inception. (In my most humble opinion) wishing Suge improved health
Nate88 I've seen a couple episodes! Hmm, I that's a good question.. I'd say it's a hybrid. He's still himself, but you can tell he knows he's "on camera", too. He respects the guests he has been too.. I say it's worth checking out if you're a fan of his.
I love DL & find him so intelligent & funny, he makes me laugh & I love to laugh & hear others laugh too. Hip hop Christmas album made me almost wet myself! Ty 4 uploading. Sure gets blamed for everything & everyone that does wrong just like I do in winona, mn.):
(8:10) It's the attitude of the people. Even if the DJ is wack I'm not going to start a fight with another man. Don't let the music control you, YOU CONTROL YOU.
I think Suge had a good sense with hip hop but his temper made him resort to threats both implied and real that did him in. You can't just strong arm every situation in the business world, it might work in the short term but it's not a viable long term startegy.
Brandon B amd Suge is a murderer who tortured people... def not the same. Where you there when he best up his woman? The same woman who slept with Suge? I think "hoe shit" is accusing a growm man of something u have no clue about. Are u a chatty patty? We have footage a suge running guys over... but to each his own
Justin Scott i mean we dont really know who was the shooter and im pretty sure it wasnt suge cuz who orders a shooting on a car that u are sitting in lol
Money mac No, Easy did his thing. Dre was the meat and potatoes of Ruthless; he just took that same talent to Death Row, then took that same talent and created Aftermath. And we know now that Dre is a billionaire, Suge is in prison probably for the rest of his life and Easy is dead, Jerry Heller as well. 👀
@@cherylmosley797 without Dre it still would of been A Eazy E. Eazy E is a master mind. Dre didnt have the brains Eazy had. Dre just had Talent. If Eazy was still alive his legacy, his fame, his fourtune would be greater and bigger
Money mac Did you actually see the movie? I saw the Compton movie and read a none published ”ruthless records book, written by Jerry Heller. Easy supplied the dope money. Dre is a writer, producer, rapper and taught Easy How to Rap. Dre often said he’s drawn to the person voice(snoop, emiman).
I was 12 back in the 90s when I first heard gangster rap music and it changed so many peoples attitudes and even as much as loved it back then and still do I can’t ignore just how destructive it was and is to the youths and unguided. It’s glorification of drugs and guns have done nothing but convert a large part of the population into criminals and the big names that make it into mainstream have a responsibility to teach people not to get into this lifestyle, not to have that attitude, not to destroy your own communities and rob people. For this type of rhetoric to even be allowed in today’s music shouldn’t be allowed as it portrays nothing but hate and violence...... The music I loved made so many into bad people, they needed positivity instead of negativity, when they needed positive role models we got criminals promoting criminal behaviour....... Hip hop is the music, rap is what is done over the top and gangster rap isn’t the same either and shouldn’t be glorified or advertised to kids, the people that perform it must also adapt and change because that destructive mentality leads to broken homes and ruin.
A sad human being; a hater of his own he is a devil plan and simple !! He worked for the Devil then got played by the Devil himself !!! A man who never grew out of his child state mentally !!! He egged on his biggest artists to stomp out a member of the most dangerous street Crip gangs in Compton !! When you think of all the good he could have done all he did was make us look stupid and ignorant !!!
Hashim Aziz DL Hughley is an iconic comedian who has had some of the best stand ups, you check him out. He's way funnier than Kevin Hart, though I can kind of see a resemblance.
Jennifer Yasharahl get the fuck outta here he has his own brand of comedy and so does DL There both funny can we pleas enjoy them while we have them and not squander them
Suge was a true business man. Listen to him drop game on the reality show hustle that far back. Fast forward 15yrs, every washed up has been throughout the business is looking to cash in on their fame to do a reality show
He was, but it never went anywhere. Petey's career was pretty much over when he signed, but heck, Death Row was sinking faster than the Titanic itself. The only major artist they had left was Kurrupt.
My impression of suge knight was he was self serving, as far as how is record label was run but when it came to charity and security he was a good guy. He's kind of an antihero.
0:41 Funny how suge snatched d.l.'s whole body towards him LOL. Reminds me of Teery crews on Next friday when he did the same thing to katt williams at the party when craig introduced him LMFAO
This was during a transition phase of the late late show. It only lasted a few months. There were multiple guest host during this time until they went with Craig Ferguson.
I use to work for Terry Carter, painting lowriders, It looked to me like running over Terry was deliberate. I just wonder why he "Suge" didn't just drive back down the street he drove up!!!! He was clear for it when he backed up from running over "Bone's" foot... Why he chose to drive forwards again idk, but it sure made it look intentional, what else can I say except that Terry "TC" Carter was a brother who looked out for his folks, RIP my brutha.... I wonder how Big Harry O feels about Suge after all this Shit.... Ice Cube is a smart man!!! Cube, thanks for that $50 tip, for that bird bath on your ride that day, up at Terry's.. Sincerly, "the surgeon/specialist" custom paint man.. 5000
NWA started it. Dre & Suge jumped in after. when you think of breakout hardcore gangsta rap it was Eazy E & NWA. yeah, Dre was part of it at the beginning but he's talking like Suge set it off. NWA became famous without radio airplay. now that's badass!
Sky Brown - Nah, Pac was too strong and too much of a threat to the establishment. They would’ve never allowed him to amass that kind of wealth because they know that he would’ve enacted too much change.
@@geniusmuneeshakur726 Look at the Rappers today copying his Style. I still listen to Pac every day. He could have been a Model,Car Designer,Author,Poet, Architect, Shoe Designer, Boxing Promoter, RU-vidr, Tattoo shop Owner, Club Owner..etc...Alot of things. He didn't let the world dictate his Life. He had so many great ideas. To leave to the next Generation.
Sky Brown - Oh I agree he was talented enough to make it happen but the establishment fears someone of his strength and talents and will eventually shut them down.
Sky brown yeah 2pac might have been a billionaire if he was alive today but back then he thought he was rich but he wasnt. Pac was always questioning where his money was but suge gave him things that wasnt his just ti shut him up. Look at 2pac moms afeni shukur interview. She said that 2pac had billions of dollars along with albums and songs unaccounted for. I think suge was playing 2pac
@@senio2 Suge Knight Loved Pac.He made mistakes. We all do. He made a mistake that night in Vegas. He let his guard down.No body was talking bullet proof cars back then. One mistake can ruin your life forever.
Yes, I remember when D.L. Hughley guest hosted The Late Late Show back in 2004 or 2005, because CBS was lookin' for someone to regularly be the host of the show. And it appeared that The Vibe Awards tried to replace The Source Hip Hop Awards, but ultimately they decided not to have either of those shows anymore, because there were too many beefs so we all know what beefs could lead to and that's somebody gettin' they ass whooped or worse killed.
