The DA stands for due process, so they must first do a full investigation and follow the disciplinary procedure. If he is found guilty, then he should be fired.
The ANC never fire his members who committed more serious crimes but just put them in other positions. Why if it's the DA the persons must be fired. It's double standard.

The DA has mixed DNA. Part of it is the old Helen Suzman, Zach de Beer spirit, and some of it is just a little bit old National Party. That's the cancer they've got to cut out, or it will take over the whole party.

Anyone concerned with race politics would be concerned with economic redistribution and restitution, anything else is nonsense and a desire to continue with apartheid and ethnic politics. The word "boer" is not a derogatory term nor is it an illegal word to use in this country. But the word, "K****r is a derogatory term which also happens to be illegal in this country. I am an African and I myself am not allowed to use that word to even refer to myself, I can be arrested. So if Gouws was not as dense as you... he could have just said, "k**l all bl***s" and I am certain the outcome would have been different. I don't know which news channel I saw the video but I remember he was going on rants about bee and how his got a masters degree but can't find a job in South Africa because his white. These "white South Africans" you speak of are mostly young people, that did not benefit from apartheid but are instead punished for it. I as a young white south african will not pay for the sins of my forfathers, we are our own generation and will demand our own respect irrespective of what the generations before us did. The white generation that destoyed the future of their children by allowing polcies like apartheid to flourish should be held accountable, but instead their children are held to account, and we are left with crap like white hate and BEE. And all we are expected to do is keep quiet and bask in our "white guilt" for something we never did. @TehM4dcow this made me tired to read. We were not born with a blank slate. We inherited everything our parents had and were given through apartheid. Look at any stats, like QLFS/QES or anything. Look at how employment, income, wealth map out on racial lines. On average we have it good. Yes there are poor whites who fall through the cracks and also struggle to find benefits, but generally we still have it good.

I think many of them share the same sentiments as the now suspended official. I believe that rants are thoughts we’ve ruminated on for a long time. Therefore I struggle to believe that any of the DA officials haven’t heard this man make similar remarks throughout his tenure. They knew he was racist and they were okay with it. You missed the point of the video - they showed a snippet of it. He ends it with a comment of “how do you feel if someone says this to you” in response to Malema’s “kill the Boer, kill the farmer” - going completely unpunished. That being said, be smart.., you can’t post sarcastic and ironic vids like that in SA 😂

This is fake news. Renaldo Gouws said Vicky momberg was wrong and fairly convicted. He then went onto criticizing Julius malema saying his kill the boer song was hurtful and then he said that if he said this and made a comparitive slur using the K word and said see it would hurt others, which is what he did in a comparative drama. I don't like Gouw's ideas, but making an unsavoury comparison is not hate speech. Just because some people are too foolish to comprehend the intent does not mean one has to join their dullness of comprehension of intent.

Just like this presenter just said "he called for the killing of black people". Firstly, it's NOT acceptable for anyone to use derogatory language. However, trying to understand why Malema can get away with that, as well as my black friends who calls themselves 'N...s', as well as my coloured brothers and sisters saying the 'K' word in normal conversation, ample times, and nobody ever says anything about that.
