As a father of a young boy like him I just cant wrap my head around how a father could treat his son like this? There is a special place in hell for people like this

He didn't think his son was fat, he was abusing him because he got off on it and it made him feel powerful to hurt someone he considered weaker than him.

The mother found bruises and called cps many times over a year, even took the father to court for full custody and the judge refused her. I’ve seen the full video, it is absolutely disgusting and really hard to watch.

The look on his face is not sadness for a dead son but sadness for how he will be treated in days to come.

The child’s mother has made numerous complaints about the child being abused by his father and they did NOTHING! For everyone who has failed that child should be punished!

Whether or not the kid died of natural causes, what he was doing to that kid on the treadmill was wrong on the highest level. He deserves life in prison regardless.

Authorities (i.e. CPS and judges) who refused to protect the child, and doctors who ignored the warning signs, should share the father's prison cell. There was a pattern of abuse and only the mother cared. And she was legally helpless.

That kid was perfectly fit, and even if he thought that Corey was "fat", it doesn't matter at ALL bc he's still a kid, and maybe the father should look at himself in the mirror. Looks like he's the one who need to run on that treadmill. The gym isn't even meant for kids, most gyms don't allow kids under 12 anyway for the same reason.

As a long distance track runner, this is really hard to watch even just the boy running. It takes an enormous amount of mental strength to run a mile which I would say you’d go around 70% of your max speed This boy looks like he’s running 70% and his dad is forcing him to do this for a long time. This guy needs to be locked up for torture, murder, most likely verbal assault and physical assault.

This is absolutely disgusting and he’s not even his own son, i hope that he gets put in prison for this atrocity

Growing up one of my closest friends was in track. His mom was part of the city council so she was obsessed with her reputation. She would always show her kids off like they were her trophies, and he got the worst of the treatment behind the scenes. His mom wouldn’t let him eat half the time, and when she did he could only eat specific healthy foods that she allowed. She made him run every single day even when he hated it. She wanted him to be an Olympic runner when he became an adult, but he didn’t want to. He loved running, but not the way she made him do it. She took it to an extreme. He was so skinny and she was constantly threatening him. We became friends because my mom was also part of the city council and we both knew what it was like to be shoved into the spotlight while feeling trapped at home. My mom was abusive too, but not in the same way. So we would share our experiences and have each other. He moved out as soon as he was legally allowed to. Lived with a girlfriend for awhile till they broke up, then struggled on his own for a bit till he met his current wife. He no longer does races, but instead works on a farm with her and they’re both happy and thriving. His mom remarried and is still part of city council, and idk if they ever made up or anything. But it was awful seeing how he was treated. He still struggles with some things now as an adult like eating properly, but he’s doing much better than before. My heart hurts for this little boy. 💔

This little boy suffered abuse over and over again for days, weeks and months with no help until he was finally killed by his abuser. What A monster.

"Natural causes by complications from pneumonia" Well, how did his child get pneumonia, and how was it allowed to get so bad that the child died? You don't just die from pneumonia overnight, it takes time untreated for it to get that bad.

Watch the full video. This news report failed to mention the father GRABBED and BIT him on the head. The autopsy mentioned blunt force and lacerations on the heart. This subhuman tortured this womans son physically and emotionally before taking his life.

As a marathon runner who trained on tread mills daily in the winter months... i can say that the treadmill was way too fast for that kid not to mention keeping up with it for a long period!!!! The kid could have had a heart attack right there!!! RIP kid !!!

I’ve seen an uncensored version of this video and it’s so disturbing. The dad literally bites down with his teeth on the boy’s head as he’s running. Like bites him hard. 😢 And the boy falls down several times, only to be forced to run again with no breaks and no water. It’s sickening. I hope the dad goes to jail for life.

The CPS or DCPP should be held liable as well. The mother filed many times about the abuse, and it nothing!! I hope Corey may rest and peace. I hope the mom can find solace that his son is in a better hands right now, and his soul is safer without his "dad"
