Dad's Homemade Banana Ice Cream the Old-Fashioned Way

We're filling our barn with hay and enjoying a bowl of Dad's famous homemade banana ice cream. This one's for you, Dad. We love you so much.
Old Fashioned Banana Ice Cream Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 24 ounces evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 bananas, mashed
- 6 cups whole milk
- You'll also need at least 16 pounds of crushed ice and 3 cups of rock salt for the freezing process.

My dad passed away December 20th, 2017. He also loved hay season and homemade ice cream. My dad drove Massey Ferguson's. You brought tears to my eyes telling about your dad and the farm. Precious memories.....💖

Such a good video, Melissa. Where did Dan learn to work on everything? Only ice cream I make is your dad’s recipe and I think of him every time we make it and Greg and I always have a little conversation about your dad
