Just imagine. During the final battle of 40k, the gods themselves are slaying one another for control of the galaxy AND the Warp. The Chaos Gods, although united, are being driven back. Almost on the brink of utter ruin, they enact their last ditch hailmary plan and unleash it. Somewhere within the depths of the Warp a member of a race long thought extinct opens it eyes for the first time in countless millenium. Am currently playing Black Crusade where you have two stats, corruption and infamy. If you're corruption reaches 100 you become a chaos spawn, if infamy isn't very high. If your infamy is also 100 you can become a demon Prince. You can lose infamy but not corruption so you have to keep doing badass things to get it up. Great mechanic.

I don't think you'd really be able to tell a xenos daemon prince from a normal one unless they made it obvious with all that chaos junk on them since even human ones don't really look human anymore. GW also probably doesn't want to bother making lore for xenos that fell to chaos that didn't get clapped by the Imperium during the great crusade.

From what i know N'Kari in fantasy is a Keeper of secrerts (greater daemon) and not a Daemon prince. I think that in very old 40k lore N'Kari was a Daemon prince but it was changed.

I want to see Perty make a comeback as an independent faction from Chaos, maybe even have a redemption arc where he joins back with the Imperium. With Rogal Dorn either dead or MIA, he would have the best skills for fortification and siege warfare in the galaxy, and it wouldn't be too surprising if the Emperor could somehow heal him of his current condition. Regardless, as a "chaos" aligned character, I don't hate him, he had decent enough reason to turn, and doesn't do a boat load of fucked stuff for Chaos as a whole compared to the others as well, second only to the Alpha Legion in that regard. Man probably just needs a genuine apology for being treated like shit all those years ago and a bit of praise for his efforts.

Perhaps Perturabo is using some warp entity other than demonic/chaotic forces to ascend or continue his life.

The negative of being a demon prince is that you are perpetually bound to the job. Should the chaos god lose interest, you become a chaos spawn. No rest, living in their own realms of madness and the blade of Damocles perpetually hanging over your head.

Im highly interested in "what if" scenarios. Then i was thinking: The chaos gods mainly unfluence and corrupt whole mankind, but i hear not much about Khorn-Eldar, Nurgel-Tau, or Slaanesh-Orks. What would happend to the galaxy/Chaos Gods, and more specific to the Xenos, if for some reason whole mankind would go extingt over night? Can Chaos Gods posses and/or corrupt the Xenos factions? and if, for example, the Necrons are the only ones left, wouldnt the Chaos Gods not just dry out and vanish?

In my headcannon, Perty he kidnapped Dorn (that's where Dorn disappeared to), and locked themselves in his tower on a demon world and nobody is allowed in. And they made peace and now they are just competing who can design better aqueducts or plumbing for the demon world's residents. X'D

In my own "head canon", i believe Perturabo has become a sentient AI like a combination of Shadow King and Ultron from Marvel 616 Universe. He can travel from machine to machine as needed although his consciousness does maintain his original body as his primary avatar.

We've had some fun talking about how Angron, or Fulgrim are probably the worst overall Primarch, or at least the worst Traitors (and how Perturabo carried the Heresy) But I think a fun video could be made about who's the worst LOYALIST Primarch?

What really fascinated me is the new Teaser for Vashtorr, the god of innovation. It isn’t a halfgod, like GW said. It is a proper chaos god, just minor. And Perturabo could very well be a Demon Prince of Vashtorr. I also know Malal/Malice and the Eldar gods, but here is my question: are there other minor chaos gods out there? Love your content!

Careful there, Majorkill. While it would be the ideal setup for the one narrative I most hope for out of 40k, we have no indication that Tuska has fallen to Khorne. For all we know him and his Boyz are just WAAAGH!!!ing on in the name of the great green gods, with Khorne finding them so adorable that he just can't help keeping them around. That is awesome. Would it be more awesome if some day an army of khornate orks led by Tuska emerged from the Warp, killing Daemons of the other Gods with ease, casually shredding some armies and worlds along the way, but most importantly challenging Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka and the hold of Gork and Mork as the Gods of the Orks, with their Waaaghs colliding across the Galaxy until the day of the final confrontation, when Ghazghkull defeats Tuska through brutal kunning and kunning brutality, proving once and for all the might and right of the great green gods, leaving us when the WAAAGH! cools down a bit (after all, the best battles are over, back to fighting the boring covardly shooty gits) with an even bigger badder Ghazghkull, some new named characters most importantly including a Tuska Miniature, rules for Khornate Orks, and a galaxy shaken to the core, in which every other faction, who were mostly ignored and sidelined in this maelstrom of violence, has to realize that maybe the biggest threat to them doesn't come from outside the Milky Way, but was here all along, slumbering and just waiting to be roused from sleep? That just might be even more awesome.

I do wonder to what extent a Daemon Prince is the individual they once were, rather than just a simulation of that person at a single instance in time; are they actually capable of change and growth? The free will but is also interesting... they can obviously (pretty much) do what they will, but where does what they 'will' come from?

I think it would be pretty cool if Perturabo ascended, but is not bound to any of the gods and instead its Vashtorr and him. Could bring him back, be pretty cool and fitting for the trench grinder to represent Vashtorrs technology and advance

I feel like this might be the best gig in 40k, you would get to have a pretty mad time but at the same time talk about living for the job. Would be neat to see more daemon princes bend the rules and test the boundaries like Belakor did, I always find chaos more interesting when it’s more complex than just stereotypical villains trying to destroy the universe, I find it hard to believe that after ten thousand years that all of the princes are happy with their station.

Anybody wonder what would have happened if some of the Primarchs had landed on other home worlds? Like what if Corax and Conrad had swapped home worlds? Would Konrad be the Emperor’s justice like he was supposed to be, and would Corax survive Nostromo? There are some other interesting options Sanguinius and Angron for example? Just wondering.

Something I find incredibly fascinating is the fact that Ollanius Persson, at the time of his death, was the oldest human in existence bar none. And not only did he serve the Emperor, he was a devoted Catholic on top of it all.

what we need is more daemon prince characters and models because i personally feel that when daemon princes are mentioned the traitor primarchs (aside from belakor) is the first thing that comes to mind.

Talk about the sons of the phoenix, the loyalist successor chapter of the emperor's children. As well as other loyalist chapters with gene seed of traitor primarchs.
