I wrote the script using info from the in game journals and my own words obviously. I edited the images and video. The voice is ai generated. Enjoy and leave a like?❤
Honest Hearts actually felt like a Fallout Bethesda Game and let me explain. You cannot join the "Evil" faction like the White Legs, but the environmental story was actually better than the main story and it had a cool NPC like Joshua Graham. I know this DLC has the least time development (the slides are not even drawn like the other DLCs), but was the end result.
While you can't join the White Legs, you can do an evil playthrough. However, it just amounts to killing the main cast and leaving. Honestly, outside of a new area to explore, you get very little for doing an evil playthrough. I was appreciative of the fact that it's the only dlc that gives you all character exclusive items regardless of your choices. It allows you to spare everyone and get cool, unique loot.
Made this after alot of people thought I forgot Randall. Never. He just takes a while to explain and also deserves his own video. Hope you enjoy and may Randall watch over us ❤
The survivalist is easy one of the best backstorys that are not important for the rest of the game in entire gaming history. And the rifle is a nice weapon too
I like how when learning about it you learn he messed up and had to repair the front sight. So when you do find it, instead of using the same iron sight as the regular rifle, you instead have to use the left post as where you're actually aiming. And the Stop/Arrėt on the stock cause Randall was serving on the Annexed Canadian border and needed the French. Also don't forget the non-fraction related Ranger Armour you picked up from him as well.
Though the same when I saw your NV DLC video. Randall is the best character and the craziest thing is, you don't need to find him or any of his logs. The main quest for the DLC does go to one of his locations and the Follower NPC will comment on him, but you can still ignore it all. While it certainly doesn't hurt that finding his body awards some sweet ass non-faction Ranger armour and a hard hitting rifle with a neat gimmick to aim it. The real prize is reading about what he did during his time in Zion. Someone mentioned bringing a whisky to leave with him when you do find his resting place. And honestly feels the best way to end effectively an unmarked quest. In a DLC with Joshua Graham, Randall Clark still manages to be one of the better characters in the DLC. Certainly better then Daniel.
This is a little off topic but before my dad passed away me and him would stay up all night playing fallout new Vegas I remember the last night I got to hang out with him before he passed I had helped him find that dead guy on top of the hill so he could get that badass gun he thanked me and I told him I loved him and appreciate him and layed down that morning he had passed away the story of the man and the message at the end makes me think of my dad that through all the pain in his life he had experienced that he like that man helped so many people and I hope like this man he knows the positive impact he left on everyone around and I hope he also forgave himself love you dad we’ll play fallout new Vegas in heaven some day when i see you again
I know how it feels my friend, its a hurt that doesn't go away easy but I'm glad the game could give you that moment. I'm certain he's proud of you. Thank you.
@@thebigjuicethesip thank you it means a lot that I got reply’s you would never guess it but games bring people together and help them find a common interest and that was exactly what I wanted for me and him we had a good memory in the end and that was more then I could ask for
Always have a hard on for the survivalist rifle, long branch arsenal was a couple blocks away from where I grew up in Lakeview ontario, between that gun and Lakeview manor in skyrim I'd say a dev somewhere came out and had a memorable vacation
@TheBigJuiceTheSip the glitch is where you can get the gold bars through the barrier Elijah puts up before you fight him. But that's if you alert him. You can also do what you said as well.
My favorite courier the one that in my mind is THE Courier worships the father in the cave as God. Basically she is took the book of Mormon and integrated the tribes religions into it. Which if funny because at that point of time she owned the strip.
An here we are in the modern day an Bethesda cant even get me to care about a faction as much as i care about honoring some dead dudes legacy. Doesnt matter my alignment Randalls kids get what randall woulda wanted for them an screw every shit lord in that valley that has a difference of opinion.
