When these migrants, originally British, no longer identify themselves as British, but instead Americans, a new identity was created. This is a very good video and important video. Dai Pai Dong allows people to get together in the open air to freely discuss anything including politics. This is what the Communist Party of China want to get rid of. I would not be surprised if that was a reason for closing down Dai Pai Dongs. I would be interested in a video of China coming to change Hong Kong's way of life.

I don't think the title was click bait. The video was exactly about dai pai dong culture in Hong Kong, but I guess the problem is that most people don't know what a dai pai dong is.

Paul Y i can’t remember what the original title but it did not include dai pai dong and was pretty clickbaity. she eventually changed it to this one now though!!

Hong Kong is a unique place like no other. Unfortunately the last of Hong Kong's culture may disappear soon...:(
