13:14 Feals like over block and cast bone on your turn is the better option. Then next turn block with flesh bag to give victor int penalty. It's a bad move but all you gain from flesh bag now is that plume is in arsinal waiting to break your inisavive later
I don't really get the play at 11:07. If Pulping hits Cast Bones or if you don't draw a blue the turn just looks terrible for you. But if you block with everything but cast bones, you get at least 6 points of value from the blocks AND set up cast bones with pulping in the arsenal. And next turn you can full block with armour if your hand is fire. Alternative line would be blocking with Cast Bones and looking to play (almost) guaranteed 6+3+6, which also looks better to me
Also, at 20:35, would you (since you are so far behind )consider letting them disable pummel you, discard pack hunt, roll scabbies with the hope of hitting 4+ to double cast bones into arsenal bare fangs? Sounds like that's the only way to win back tempo at that point
Looking back on this actually makes me sadder that I did draw a blue... I think the line following the Pulping was actually to Claw then Cast Bones and arsenal the Pack Hunt. That would've been a much stronger play, especially considering what ended up happening. Pack Hunt for 12 go again followed by CnC slaps. As far as making the decision to go for Pulping, I was just very unimpressed by the alternatives of overblocking the Estrike and hoping not to get IPed, or blocking with Cast Bones (which was the second best line). If I block with Cast Bones and don't keep a blue after Pulping, my turn was kind of bad. Same if I block 6 then Cast Bones and pass with a blue in hand. Taking the 75% to have an awesome turn felt worth it (though admittedly this gets a lot worse if the arsenaled card is a Sink Below). With that in mind, maybe the most correct play was to roll Scabs ahead of the Pulping.
No, I would never make this play. For one thing, why do you say I'm so far behind? The life totals aren't too disparate and I have Cast Bones to bail me out. Overblocking was a mistake as I said, but doubling down on Cast Bones bailing me out feels very wrong in this spot.
