I'm so glad you figured out a good direction for DB, as you saw I had no love for any strategy as that list came from a combination of the idea of walkers/enchantments...great adds, i'm going to put this together now :) Thanks boys. edit: decklist? >.< lol

Just wanna say, upgraded willowdusk with your guide, and holy crap, it’s a HOUSE!! So synergistic, everything works, combos well! I would say you might wanna toss in a beast within, and I also got a cheap Bolas’ Citadel, which, well, it’s amazing.

This video is a great example of how to think through a deck’s design and these principles could be applied anywhere. Thanks for the tips.

My first ever commander deck and I just ordered a bunch of cards to build him again. Also my favorite card ever in terms of art/flavor text

From all the cuts, it sounds like this started as an Aminatou superfriends deck that the builder morphed into Dakkon.

I just decided to build him and the guide is really useful. Gotta love a commander that no matter how much it costs it's still valuable

I love this list. When I built Dakkon I tried to slow the table to my speed instead of competing with green ramp. Solid plan here! Love the list. Love Reserved List commanders!

I figured blackblade reforged would be on theme. It makes Dakkon twice as good.

I think they should also consider putting Prototype Portal in along with the 4 esker artifact lands. It basically lets you get an extra land every turn! Nice deck tech guys tbh I’m considering building him now :)

Hi, so is there a way I can have a better way to c how can I build a Dakkon deck from scratch?

Evertime I see wispersilk cloak I want to say: "why don't you play neurok stealthsuit instead" and forget that it does not grant unblockable just as every "stealthsuit" would on each non-bizarro plane...

I love Dakkon, was super hyped to see he may be getting a new art or even new support. I've been meaning to build him again, but was gonna make it kinda WoW/Death Knight themed. Definitely hyped to see you guys have a take on him!

The ultimate flavor when is when you play blackblade reforged on him would also cares about how many land you have, and then you swing with it

Love emeria shepherd in my omnath loc deck. With Steve I can get all the basic plains (all 4 or 5 of them!) Out of my deck.

I only recently replaced my walking atlas with Budoka Gardener//Dokai, Weaver of Life in my landfall deck. Walking Atlas is my favorite card name that should be a folk band.

I play a custom oathbreaker format (60 cards, no sig spell cuz it’s broken). Just got a Borderless Dihada and looking to get dakkon and jeskai narset soon. Great video. Think my dakkon will be esper super friends.

An overlooked combo with dreamscape artist and retreat to Coralhelm. They go infinite together. 1. Have both Dreamscape Artist and Retreat to Coralhelm in play 2. Activate Dreamscape Artist to sac a land and tutor for 2 basic lands. Make sure one is an Island. 3. Use one of the Coralhelm landfall triggers to untapped Dreamscape Artist. 4. Repeat the loop to get all of your basic lands out of your deck in one turn. 2/3rds end up on the battlefield and 1/3rd end up in your graveyard. Please make this a combo a short. People need to know about broken land combos outside of green.

I would love for you guys to do the unthinkable, do a commander tune up on my chaos Kess deck but with the goal to make it even more chaotic, i know you(and the majority of the mtg communtity) arent fond of chaos strategy but i think it could be fun and it would be a little different of an episode for you guys to play with, just putting thay out there, love you guys in the most uncomfortable way possible😘

Why wouldn’t you drop traumatic compass for fabricate and wayfarers bauble for maze of ith ? Those two cards are pretty cheap. And it seems like you’d have a better chance of hitting the ith with the tutors. Also depending on the situation you can fabricate for something else. Or map for something else depending on the situation. You would have to put in the expedition map as well but I’m sure cutting something with high cmc wouldn’t be a problem.

Path is better than swords for esper landfall, your best white ramp is catchup ramp

It is I. That one guy who nitpicks one specific moment of the video. I think the fact that in a lands deck, path to exile always having the 1% of time option to hit your own thing to get a land, should keep it in the deck.
