Offense: Play calling a bust. We did everything 9ers expected us to do. No slant plays, nothing in the middle, screens were not executed, went away from Pollard(??), not enough first downs. The list goes on. Defense: Uncalled for dumb penalties. And Missed tackles, chasing coverage, D line gave up the ass most game. But 14 penalties equals an L.
Said it best. We averaged about 10-15 penalties all year . Horrible . Only had a good record cause our cup cake schedule . Only solid / decent team we beat all year . Patriots and chargers. Defensive holding is unheard of. We should’ve benched that player but didn’t. He actually had 3 penalties on the day charged to himself. No discipline.

Watched Cowboys lose a heartbreaking Super Bowl to Colts in 1970, then winning Super Bowl against Dolphins in 1971. Roller coaster till 77 Cowboys Win Super Bowl against Broncos , countless losses in between and thru 80's , heartbreaking losses into1989 when Jerry came and took over. I road that wave in the Great 90s run, 3 Championships !!! So yes I can appreciate and love Your Passion ! This year I felt in my gut all season the O- line might get exposed if we make to the playoffs, and sure enough. But I'm 61 now and Still Ridin and Dying with The Cowboys !! Counting my blessings after these last 2 tough years ( I am a Nurse by profession) , the Dallas Cowboys have been a welcome part of my life and getaway, although sad season ending loss...But I will be climbing back aboard in 2022. I'm with you 1980. This 100% starts at the top and works its way to the guys on the practice squad. McCarthy has to go in my opinion, it's on him to make sure this team is ready to play and execute every play of every game and do it with discipline. What we saw today was a debacle. And yes, it sucks to have tolerated this for as long as us Cowboys fans put up with it. But, come the off season, I'll be anxiously waiting to start this all over again, with a better outcome hopefully.

That was a tough loss. But Cowboys already played their Superbowl last week against the Eagles back ups. I saw a lot of celebrating and comments about how they got their MOJO back and blah blah blah. A year later and the Boyz are in the same boat. Struggling to win games against the Colts, Texans and then losing to the Jags.....all teams with subpar records....we are again a one and done team on the playoffs. They have shown time and time again that they are not superbowl contenders. I like this dudes content as a super Cowboy fan. He post some good stuff and it is not always "cowboy up! Superbowl coming!" I actually feel a bit bad, bc he is not like a lot of these other Cowboy fans.
They were down 22-7 against the Cards going in the 4th. The Cards were in cruise control most of the game. The Cards also were playing third and second stringers on offense and defense missing their starting corners and sack leader. Also a few of their red zone weapons that could of converted those fgs into tds. Believe me when I say this that game would of been a complete blown out if it was placed in week 7. The Cards and Niners were the better team. And the Cowboys had to play catchup in order to even make it a game after both the niners and Cards took their foot off the gas. The truth is the Cowboys didn't play anybody. And the teams above .500 they beat 9-8 Chargers 10-7 Pat's who got blown out recently and were even worse earlier on in the year, and the Eagles 9-8 who also didn't play anybody. When the Cowboys went up against a real team from the NFC West they looked average. They looked lost and they looked like the inferior team because they were. Give credit where it is due they are overrated. Their stats are inflated because they beat up on some of the worst teams in the league and looked Mediocre against winning teams and almost lost against the Chargers and Pat's may I add. Point out a quality win they had none all year.
I am so upset with the offence... where the heck did our offence go AGAIN???? Penalties was one of the big issue with us this year . Our cupcake schedule helped us though . Had we played better teams this year . No way we 12-5 . Too many penalties . And lack of qb play. Too inconsistent

And I’m not suggestion we start over again? But how many coaches, coordinators, quarterbacks, etc have we gone through? How can we get the same result? Ownership remains the same, but honestly, how did Jerry cause the shit show that happened today? I’m extremely disappointed.
