Larry Hagman was such a phenomenal actor. It's hard to believe this man played Astronaut Tony Nelson from " I dream ofJeannie" from the 60's. A TV Legend.
JR is legendary. My goodness what a charming, passive aggressive, manipulative,adulteress,convincing man he was. He had more tricks up his sleeve than 'Houdini', in escaping slippery situations.

Yes that is so true. To be honest I'm probably more used to 'Clayton', due to age. I mean 1981 I was last years at primary school but 'Dallas' was massive. Funny to think, that back then even young children, were tuning into this sort of soap/drama, with their Mums!
J.R. Was very nosy when he asked his mother and then he tells her he will fight her on his father’s will. J.R. Only cares about what he wants. My siblings & I would never dare ask our parents questions about what didn’t concern us.

I hated when Sue Ellen would stab Bobby, Pam, Ray etc.... in the back when she was on good terms with J.R. When he was cruel to her she would go whine to them.
Just like Kristin she sleeps with Jr hoping to be the next Jr Ewing yet she ended up shooting him in the end because she realized she was no different than any other person he screws over.
Dallas is my all time favorite show but I didn’t care for the exterior of the ranch filmed in the studio after they leave the real SouthFork after the Ewing Barbecue when the on location scenes were filmed at the beginning of the season.
Sasha Mitchell cannot act. Point blank period! I remember he was written off the sitcom Step By Step because he was arrested and eventually jailed spousal abuse. He’s a real piece of work.😒
At that point in his life, JR was damaged goods. He treated Sue Ellen like crap but still had a weird love for her so any woman afterwards had to deal with his baggage and resentment to women.
The actor playing James is AWFUL. It's almost like a parody of acting. Every sentence is so affected and "dramatic". He should have been forced to follow Larry around the set for a year and watch how a real actor works.
In All fairness I can Not omit 'The Cartwright's' from 'BONANZA' Strong family unit; wealth, Land... Ben Cartwright was a REAL Cowboy, raised his sons , Adam, Hoss and Little Joe took care of business!!! Well Dressed; Dad and All his sons... Oh, I had a crush on Adam dressed in that black... Definitely cannot forget 'The Big Valley, Barbara Stanwyck, The Matriarch , she didn't mind pulling that trigger on that rifle and could ride a horse like Audra and her sons. ... OK, I am telling my age but the latter 2 shows were shown when JR played 'Tony' on I Dream Of Jeannie!! You youngsters need to go back and watch these shows!!!
