Dallas Liu Is Honored To Be Prince Zuko in Netflix’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” 

Well if he's "honored" to play him, we're up to a good start. (I had to.... 🙈🙈🙈🙈)

Seems potentially promising, but I’m gonna need to hear him do a good angsty voice to be fully sold on him as Zuko. 🤔😂

He nailed it as Zuko, now we need him as Todoroki.

Honestly his voice is very fitting for playing Zuko (3:20 he sounds a bit like him here) anyway I really hope he does a good job, he really seems to be such a great guy❤️

I would say he arguably has one of the largest shoes to fill. Dantes voice is so iconic and synonymous with the character. I hope he does well and wish him the best. His martial art ability makes him a perfect fit butbyeah the voice is gonna be a challenge. I almost would prefer him not even try to do the voice and just be himself than attempt it and do it badly

I am crushing so hard right now at this actor(not that way) I am just really happy, it's just a but feeling that I feel that he's the one, for zuko. (😫😭 I hope I'm right, my gut feeling is usually right)

The perfect zuko cast

Many the actor interviews I've watched reccently, they share wanting to work with Taika Waititi and that makes me so happy because I've been such a vocal Waititi fan. His films have something for everybody yet are so unique in many elements. I'm so happy when I hear more and more people enjoying his work because it's exceptional. Simu Liu also said he wanted to work with "Korg" ! AAPI love!

I think Zuko is one of the most important characters of the series, so important that the portrayal of that character can decide about success and failure. Since this actor looks capable and is charming, I hope he is doing the character justice. Unfortunately, he doesn't look the part. With his round face and the small eyes he looks more Asian than all guys I ever watched in Korean, Thai and Japanese drama together. He is miscasted for sure. Zuko in the original looks 100% white. It doesn't matter if the Fire Nation culture was influenced by Asian culture. That's not how this should work. His character design looked white, same as Katara and Sokka looked inuit. I have no issue with their actors. Also Aaang looked like a buddhist Asian monk. No issues there either. But this actor doesn't look a bit as the Zuko we know, who, let's be honest, was designed as the attractive bad boy and heartthrob. The ugly scar just boosted that image and made him more "bad" and more a tragic hero. He was that teenage crush many girls had with that very unusual voice (kuddos to the voice actor). Don't get me wrong, Dallas Liu is attractive and charming, but he isn't the Zuko we know. In fact he couldn't be farther apart from the characters looks in the animated series.
