Great seeing someone with fight knowledge dive into some of these scenes. The composite effects they used to try and make the hits seem "real" unfortunately took us completely out of the fight scenes. Would have been great to see what they could have done with all this training without adding a computer into the mix.

For me it was the bit where he said it was easy to knock out someone with a knife. I don't know much about mma but I've played with rubber knives before.. .. .. ok that sounded wrong but you know what I mean

I didnt take the movie seriously and watched it more as an action comedy and it is much more fun like that, the people that i talked to that watched it 100% seriously didnt enjoy it at all I find that pretty funny

@DarkHourYT i mean i never saw the original and dont really plan to, i think the remake stands on its own as a decent off beat comedy, if they made it as its own movie and not a road house remake then i think it would be a good movie

Dude I'm a trained fighter there was zero chat gpt involved here. He literally used a Thai style kick in this fight so idk what you're going on about here
