I've been looking back on all of the -1 videos that came out after the movie released in December, and after seeing your video, I can say yours is one of the few that did not age poorly. At 1:30, that preface of you apologizing in advance for getting facts of Godzilla's history wrong really speaks volumes after the bad faith takes from video essayists - especially Doktor Skipper's video.

In ep 7 Elrond is charging the Orcs prepared to die with all the others then stops because he sees Galadriel, then he says the Dwarfs weill be there at dawn. Well why bloody charge hours before dawn? Makes no sense.
What is it with these reviews that just cut off without any kind of closing. It's not quite in mid-sentence, but it definitely gives that impression. I know a couple other guys who do that. How about a "thanks for watching, i hope you will join my again" at least, of if not an actual conclusion. It just doesn't sound like the end of the video, but then it just ends.
You know Sauron is actually Saurah right? They aren't going to reveal that until the last finale but she's actually a black woman. She had to take the form of a male just to survive.

Feels like every actor is so out of place in this show, but the character on 31:57 is so frustrating, all the time it seems like hes trying so hard to depict strong leadership and authority to compensate that he looks like the gayest most vanilla adult man alive in this world. His feminine looks reminds me of the English kings from Vikings, but that was merely their characteristic traits, and king Ekbert was the most amazing character on the show, representing the best king his ancestors would desperately bring heir to his name. This guy is trying so hard to be someone he isnt, he is way too feminine to be a badass, but in his attempt to trying to be he is such a weak pathetic character and actor...

I like to think that, when Adar asked "Halbrand's Sauron, isn't he?", Galadriel just inserted a cinematic dramatic pause, and both characters were awkwardly staring at each other for several days until Galadriel finally said "yes, he is Sauron".
4:20 There’s literally a scene in Daredevil season 3 where Melvin locks Daredevil in room and then daredevil breaks out and they stand and look at each other for 5 seconds before fighting. Why? Because it’s cool! This show was my great but this fight was really cool.
Some MAROON made a comment about DH’s voice, which I actually love bc it makes me feel like he is just on the edge of absolutely losing it for the travesties committed against both viewers and Tolkien himself.

So let me tell you a thing about that part of the script. When I wrote that and the line about it nearly making contact with his face. I literally needed to stop and do something else for a bit because I knew those were by far the best lines in the script and everything would be down hill.
In their defense, with every episode they managed to dig deeper into the mountain of bad "artistic" decisions, effectively surprising me with every step that anyone would willingly get that low.
I still am totally unable to get my head around the reason why one of the twins pursues a dark vendetta against the Jedi for decades and commits further murders, apparently because she blames the Jedi for making _her_ murder her entire cult/family? And then the "good one" who was actually on their side the whole time decides in the end that actually no, she's the evil one who wants to kill the Jedi for the crime of showing up on her planet instead. It doesn't make any sense at all.
Ringpiece of Prime… watched the first season as I wanted to love it, but by the mid season episodes I was literally forcing myself. I haven’t and won’t bother with the second season.
You do a good job digging up all these random clips to emphasize your points. That must take a lot of work. I know very successful creators who mostly just use the same exact clips over and over, i appreciate that you actually put in the effort to get some variety.
I keep being surprised at just how dumb the plot threads are, the more i actually find out what they are. And can't really fault the door, it was Tolkiens door originally, but i admit that not only is putting your password in the damn hint a risky idea, anyone who happens to overhear it by standing near when they open the door will know it also. You can't untell anyone once they know, and the number of people who know the word will multiply over time. It's not really much of a security system. Other than being essentially invisible except at the right times, i guess that's a good point. But if an enemy spy were to follow your friends to the door, he would not only see where it is, but he would be able to hear the word to enter. There is a reason they don't do voice control PINs at credit card machines.
to me the whole Disa-Durin-Durin triangle might be the least crap part of this so called show. and absolutely hate the way they depicted Pharazons son. that cowardly Grima, Alfred type. he's just there for everyone to hate and to make everyone else look better. That's lazy and bad writing. not to mention Isildur...jesus! that guy couldn't tie his own shoelaces without screwing it up somehow. why!?!?

I'm not really sure I would feel bound to go watch my grandmother's execution. That's kind of a weird analogy. For what, moral support? Enjoyment? Duty? Probably depends on what she did as well. But I would also say this isn't your grandmother, it's an imposter who is being sentenced for stealing your grandmother's identity and draining her bank accounts. Only the sentencing is the videos like this mocking it, watching the show itself is more like watching the actual crime. And I had a somewhat nastier crime metaphor I was going to use initially, an act I think it's probably more analogous to what this show is doing to Tolkiens work. But it was a little too much.
It’s funny how preoccupied they are with diversity, meanwhile the showrunners are wealthy white men/white women (and with regards to characters, let’s not forget to mention girl boss Galadriel)
All monsters in fantasy genres are supposed to be mindless, concentrated evil. This is what gives fantasy its sense of urgency and doom. Those show runners are idiots, they are former Bad Reboot members and have never really done anything of significance. They should have never been given this job. Unreal levels of stupidity.
