Ireland is the country of my ancestors on Mom and Dads side which I have traced and I am fiercely proud of it. And I will not bow my knee to any king or queen on God's good earth ever. Seán Russell, the IRA's Chief of Staff in 1939, travelled to Germany just before Neville Chamberlain's declaration of war. He was there to offer his assistance to his services to Hitler. He was welcomed, given a villa to use in Berlin and a car, and met Foreign Minister Joachim Von Ribbentrop. After the conquering of France, Russell urged the Germans to use the IRA to strike the British forces in Northern Ireland. He died 14 August 1940.
