Totally true I am 100% disabled and that is what I make each year even though the cost of living has skyrocketed they have done nothing. Why is it that we only get $11,000 a year? The poverty line is almost three times what we get. Unfortunately most people don't care about poor people unless they are poor themselves this world is a very selfish selfish world filled with a bunch of people that steal from the poor to make themselves wealthier. Everyday I lose more and more faith in our government. I do not believe that prosecutors prosecute petty crimes more than major scandals. There is a lot of data out there that shows this. I think more research should be done before you make that statement. Some cities are not even prosecuting for crimes under $1000 or something like that.
