Man, her smile even before she stands up and enter the song, made my day! What a creature what a woman! And once she hit the first note, heaven opened and the whole world became better! How is this possible???? 😍❤
Evergrey is amazing! I love this song but I always say this is a more streamlined song for them. I'd highly recommend Weightless, Eternal Nocturnal, Where August Mourns, King of Errors, or Blindfolded next 🙂
I'm 100% in agreement here, even just comparing this to "Disconnect" off the same album (also feat. Floor as background coral vocals), they couldn't be more different. If this is the radio-friendly Evergrey, that one sure isn't. Much more progressive and unique - I love it. That said, I say "Where August Mourns" would be an amazing next step. "Black Undertow" would also be awesome though.
Agreed. This is just a mainstream rock song, and while I'm no offiacianado of Evergrey, what I have heard and liked is way different from this. Floor makes everything sound good. Even pop music. Never thought I'd admit to that!
Evergrey is so unbelievably underrated. They are one of my favorite bands of all time and this line-up is their best, imo. They work together as an oiled machine better than most. Henrik is one of the best guitar players in the world and so few know who he is. Tom has the voice of a god damn angel, Jonas is one of the most consistently good drummers I've ever witnessed live, Johan is a master bass player and an unbelievably nice guy and Rikard just ties everything together with his beautiful compositions. Thank you for reacting to Evergrey and giving them some love. They are a band who haven't gotten their flowers yet but they deserve them so much. If you want to check out some more Evergrey videos, Midwinter Calls, King of Errors, Eternal Nocturnal, Weightless, The Masterplan, A Touch of Blessing... you know what, just pick any of them, you can't go wrong.
Evergrey have been around for a long time now, I started listening to them about 10 years ago, they are a major part of the Swedish metal scene, In Orbit is a great song, but having Floor singing second lead just lifts it to the next level (as only she can, and normally does) Big Love brother
There are many GREAT singers, but there is only one Floor Jansen (my inner FloorFan Speaks). It seems that if you had a great song and you add Floor's magic to it, this song becomes Legendary !!!! Also, Evergrey did this song with Floor LIVE at 70000 Tons of Metal, The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise! Sadly there is no great video of that, only cam recordings, but it was MAGICAL !!!! In that note, here is few more collabs : SOILWORK - "Let This River Flow" feat. Floor Jansen - Live In The Heart of Helsinki (OFFICIAL VIDEO) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--yXB7CB6DmU.html TOBIAS SAMMET'S AVANTASIA - Misplaced Among The Angels (feat. Floor Jansen) (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RRG0DO1YFic.html I am a patient man, so I wait and hope . NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.
Evergrey is band with soul, instrumentalists of band are awesome (even they have changed during years), Tom' s voice is magical and powerful and because he is the songwriter too, bands sound is still there. In Orbit is bit popish but still every aspect their music basically is there. Plus Floor. I have almost all Evergrey's cd's . I hope u dig also older stuff even there is lots of material to make a reaction. Words mean nothing, More than ever, All I have, Nosferatu, The Masterplan, Wrong, The Disease...
Ah Evergrey, one of my top 5 bands for sure. Tom is such an amazing vocalist and it matches so well with Floor, even though this song is kinda plain i would say they have some amazing prog stuff to discover. I would reccommend the album The Atlantic to listen to in your free time, it's really good. Enjoying those videos, really.
All I Have is an incredible song as well. I can never forget it. Same with A Silent Arc, which is beautifully and perfectly progressive, diverse and even meditative. So glad you’re checking them out. Their newest album is incredible too and I’ve spent many hours listening to their music. Great band 🙏 And it was a pleasure watching your reaction.
Oooh I love this song, I am always happy to see you react to amazing music. I did not have much time today as I was going to the Ayreon pop up store in Tilburg with my father. I had nothing Ayreon related and I am seeing them live tomorrow so I bought a necklace with their logo and i love it. I already have a million shirts so I wanted to pick something unique
Floor was barely showing with Freya in this. I really like Tom's side project Silent Skies with on e person on guitar. He was also on Floor Finds on her channel. Hannes was in this band until 2013. Tom was a guitar player before he became a singer
I found out about Evergrey through a post Oceans of Slumber did on Facebook. They said that their friends in Evergrey had a new album out (The Atlantic ) and that Tom Englund was the Teddy Pendergrass of Metal. I had to check it out and I can't say they were wrong. Love this band!
Great band. Had to wait over 10 years to finally see them live. It just didn't happen before. But seen Tom S. Englund sing with Ayreon before and also a few days ago. And he killed it on stage.
This is one of theire more softer songs,Floor is a BIG fan of Evergrey. These are few songs to continue SOLITUDE WITHIN ETERNAL NOCTURNAL WHERE AUGUST MOURNS SAVE US MIDWINTER CALLS
Now more to add to the list: for example: Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult - The Dead Hate The Living live - evil black metal with female fronted woman. Bethlehem - Tagebuch Einer Totgeburt official videoclip - german dark metal - insane vocals
They sounded good together, Tommy is obviously a great singer in his own right, and Floor... well she's Floor enough said. Good song and sound, I'm sure too pop or mainstream for some but i liked it. ❤ and ✌️all
React to this pls. Tobias Sammet's Avantasia "Misplaced Among the Angels" featuring Floor Jansen Tobias Sammet's Avantasia "Kill the pain away" featuring Floor Jansen
If you want to go down this hole, Eternal Nocturnal would be a great follow up to this one. I do love this one, it's great to hear Tom and Floor together. Their voices fit together perfectly. But.... Eternal Nocturnal couldn't be more different from this one lol. Literally kicks you in the face from the first beat.
@@eddiehesselman3904 You left out over produced. If you don't think it is Europop, you need to get out more. English isn't your first language obviously.
