The main reason I don't use that Sam that system I mean is that it really should be incorporated with a channel because any moisture that builds up behind that membrane is just going to drip on the floor and of course if you've got a plug that leaks it's going to bridge straight onto the most absorbent product you can use which is bonding.. update the moment I sent this message you literally took the words out on my mouth and explained about the channel lol
