Hi Sam you're the only person I know that seems to know what they're on about. I've had a DPC done 5 weeks ago, and in parts where the skirting would usually sit, if i put a damp meter on it, it shows 20% moisture. I've been advised this is because the wrong type of plaster has been used. They have used Gypsum thistle bonding and gypsum thistle multi finish plaster. Is this eventually going to dry out? Or will this sit there, and needs redoing
Morning sam thanks for the early reply this morming. Ive never had so many issues before like this. Does this need to be hacked back to brick, or can i just hack the gysum bonding and plaster off to 1 meter and replace it all with dryzone damp plaster to ceiling
