I love Rocky Marciano. A regular customer at a dollar tree where I used to work, and I would always talk about Rocky Marciano, he brought up Rocky Marciano, and I personally like the rock and I miss those conversations I just thought about that. The only other person who really liked Rocky Marciano, a lot, and we’ll talk about all the time. He always said Marciano with an accent it was always “Marshiano” With that East Coast accent. 29:50 his 1964 JKD to those original students who never learned anything else became the gospel truth, and they rejected everything else.

Thanks to Dan Inosanto who can explain meticulously who Bruce Lee was and how agile he truly was. Inosanto who had already a rich martial arts background before he met Bruce. Therefore when Bruce is only called "An Actor" that is total rubbish. Bruce was first and foremost a dedicated martial artist. There was a reason why the top fighters in karate of the day wanted to train and learn from Bruce. Joe Lewis, Chuck Norris and Mike Stone had also been marines. So tuff guys who wouldn't take lessons from a man they would have deemed less. Like Lewis first did when he met him

Bruce was a great coach and teacher..he wasnt just an actor. He wasnt a proven fighter though.

@cuzz63 Proven as a ringfighter no. Not like Joe Lewis or a Benny Urquidez etc... But Bruce had no such aspirations. But that didn't make Bruce any less dangerous or lethal then he was. By that comparison you could also claim that special trained forces aren't Proven fighters also. Lethal nonetheless

Watch the footage of Louis Delgado practicing on Bruce’s backyard and you’ll realize that Lee learned a lot from observing the bests of that time. They didn’t directly teach him, but he still learned a lot from them too.

I agree, and the footage of him kicking in the backyard was RIGHT after he recovered from his back injury, so he was just getting back into moving his body

Nonsense Muay Thai had been using boxing techniques for a long time, Chuck Norris started Lee on Tang Soo Do Kicks then Jhoon Rhee taught Lee TKD kicking and Joe Lewis taught Lee the side kick etc
@joelpollardjkd

Joe Lewis DID NOT teach Bruce the sidekick 😂. And like Dan said "At the time" this was 1960s. Muay thai and other martial Artist have evolved since then. And lastly as Dan says, he was ACTUALLY there. It would be foolish to say "he is nonsense" when you weren't there.
