Finally an honest reaction to Dan. The guy is a natural talent that has been trained into the supernatural class. You can hate the guy for where he was born (fair enough) but you can’t hate on what he can do with his voice.
Not much spoken of...but his range? Less than 5 in the world who can do 3- or even 4 with integrity. (Only 1 consiatently on 4, guy f=om Kazakhstan) On Dans Amazing Grace he is one half-turn shy (meaning last note is F#, from sharp to full G) of 4 octives, with full vowel sounds, even in raspy screams. Take notice, world.

It's so trippy to watch all of these reaction channels that I'm familiar with react to Dan Vasc. I forst discovered him when I first tuned into the Friday Night Tights stream a year and a half ago. He made an awesome original song for their intro that instantly hooked me into that show. Been watching that stream every single week since. Then I checked out some of these covers like this one. Also got familiarized with him through the streams of those in that sphere, because he shows up sometimes on the streams. I love the stream he did with Chrissy Mayr, in which he got to talk more in depth of what he likes and what he does and has done. Loved his story about Christopher Lee, though it's unfortunate about Christopher Lee passing before he could get him on his album.

He has quite a catalogue, from opera like Nessun Dorma, and Time to say goodbye, and Phantom of the opera, Jesus Christ superstar, to Queen, Bon jovi, Toto, to Dragonforce, Nightwish, Evanescence, to Kate Bush Wuthering heights. He even has some really awesome Christmas carols too, like 'come all ye faithful' but sung in latin, it becomes 'Adeste Fideles'. I think you will love that.

The his latest Spanish song el Amor en ti, where he sings and harmonizing with himself. He has a 6 ti 7 octave range and is classically trained. He is studying for his doctorate. He plays 7 instruments and sings in a multitude of languages.

When Dan first started singing seriously on RU-vid he introduced himself as Daniel Vasconcelos (thtat's his real name), then he went with Daniel, then he still wasn't happy and was going to go with "Dante" but finally settled on "Dan Vasc" just a shortened version of his real name, I'm sure glad he did. Love this young man I listen to him to at least once a day as I think his music is inspirational and I can't wait for the next big one coming out soon!
Vasc rhymes with mask! This is my favorite version of this song! He sings it the way it is supposed to be sung! With every fiber of your being and with total conviction! I dare you to watch his rendition of 'Wuthering Heights.'
