The guitarist is Gabriel, one of Dan's childhood friends and a member of his band Fearless. I thought they did a fantastic job on this cover. If you would like to hear him sing something completely different, try his version of Gethsemane, from the Rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar. It is an incredible vocal and performance masterpiece. I always look forward to your Dan reactions and hope to see many more.
When Dan Vasc adds his style of Metal to music, it does become better! Not every artist that does add Metal can can claim that! His voice is rich, full and powerful!
After "Toss a coin to your Witcher" and "The song of the white Wolf" his channel took off. Within 4 years Dan went from 145,000 subscribers to his goal of 1 million subscribers in May 2024. What an incredible achievement by Dan. You basically look at his covers, but you don't see the person behind these covers. The sweat for the hard work in the background, his joy at what he has achieved or maybe disappointments, I don't think you can guess. Thank you for your continued support and wonderful reactions to this epic cover by Dan. Thanks for sharing.....
I think Amazing Grace boosted his channel also. So many say they discovered Dan with that video. I am included . So glad I watched when it showed up in my Google feed.❤
@@user-dh3pb3xd9pI totally agree. I'm not entirely sure. Dan had between 700,000 - 750,000 subscribers in April 2023 before Amazing Grace. Amazing Grace has over 13 million views so far and I'm also a fan of Dan's music because of this song.
You should do a double reaction of Dan’s Priscilla’s Song from The Witcher- first watch the traditional voice and lute version, then the metal version. Very cool to see how he performs and reimagines the music!
Hey brothers! Good to see another great reaction video! I loved your comments, and it is awesome to hear your honest feedback!! I love that you are continuing to do Dan Vasc reactions! I really thought Dan and the band did such a great job on this, and it would be awesome for the series! I really love that Dan and those he works with have such an excellent approach to music and expression! I would say it is truly musical excellence…because it surpasses technique, skills, and study, and it brings to life the inspiration and beauty that is carried on rhythm, melodies, and harmonies. When I was young, I loved learning about King David in the Bible…he was my role model for music, praise and worship; he not only did music, but his heart was entwined with love, intention, and words that painted concepts. I see this same gift in Dan Vasc….and rightly so, for Dan has the heart of a King!!! May you have the most epically joy-filled day, gentlemen, and I’ll see you next time!!! 🤗👏🏼 🔥🔥⚔️🇧🇷🇺🇸⚔️♥️♥️
Yes, Dan makes songs better by adding his great "metalized" arrangements, great voice, and great singing. Gabriel does a fine job on guitar, as always. I love this. If you haven't yet watched Priscilla's Song, it's another great Witcher song (from the game, sung by a woman bard), in two versions - Dan's metalized version, and his quiet acoustic version, non-metal and close to the original. Maybe you could do both?? 😊Another suggestion for a future reaction - Spread Your Fire, a video that isn't often reacted to, but I think it's terrific. High energy, showing off several of Dan's voices and his incredible range, with lots of little Dans singing backup, which is always wonderful. Thanks for your reactions! I always find them to be thoughtful and I enjoy your discussions.
What a voice, what a range ! When the cover is better than the original and this is the best cover from this song ever ! One of my absolute favorites ! Thank you for your reaction ! 😊
