Dana White gave his congratulations to Leon Edwards backstage immediately after his UFC 286 victory over Kamaru Usman in London. This was the third time Leon and Kamaru had fought and Leon now owns two victories over Kamaru Usman, something nobody else has done. Leon now retains his welterweight title and will face Colby Covington in the near future.

Leon really surprised and impressed me with his performance. If he’s fighting Colby next I can only dream Usman fights Khamzat next. I don’t know which I’d look forward to more. Would have loved to see Usman vs Islam if Usman won the belt back, but Leon winning opens up a lot more potential matches. Looking forward to at least a year of great welterweight fights.
