The only exception to these situations would be the knockout artists in boxing from middle weight and heavier. A wrestler has less chances against a knockout artist who can kill you with either hand. But as I said you can read how many boxers have lost to Catch Can Wrestling. I'm not surprised because when two boxers get tangled up in a clinch it always takes a ref to separate them to continue in medium range.

It's a shame - 2 years on and people still haven't got the fight they wanted! As much as I don't agree what the UFC pays it fighters, at least they have the best match makers in the fight game. they put on fights that the fighters call out and what the fans want too, which is why UFC will only go up and boxing has reached it's plateau (not saying it's going to go downhill but it's at it's peak right now)

Speed is the main parameter that would need to be utilised to hit a target (body, head etc) before it has enough time to react. This is how you knock someone out. You don't need much force to knock someone out through a blind shot, however if you double the force thus reducing the speed and the opponent notices, then he can use his neck muscles to withstand the shock.
