Considering that Konami is having second thoughts about making video games again, and considering that after 2010 Konami has been shitty since then, I don't know if they'll ever make really good video games as they used to in the 2000s and before. While Nintendo would love to make one, I'm not sure if this game sold well compared to the others, hence why there hasn't been a sequel since then.
Yeah, The US commercial in my opinion, while it was common during that time period for people to make dancing more of a challenge, in Japan and Europe it was more akin to that of a music lifestyle. Japan was like "Yeah, we love to breakdance, and we'll do the moves similar to the actual game (and shows the actual footage of the game". Where as the PAL regions, similar to what they did with Donkey Konga, is more akin to that of a EDM Pop Rock type of groove that I'm pretty sure most of those breakdancing moves were just to show off just how good DDR people actually are, despite that the game never has you do the windjammer, turbine, or even flips and hand stands to do those moves.
Nobody apparently has the extended US commercial because I remember at least the ending was different with the guy sneaking into the theater and the music stopped with Mario’s breaking sound effects being heard
1:45 Pretty sure that this is a beta version of Pirate Dance. Someone uploaded like 2 beta versions of it not too long ago that were found in the game. I don't know why it has so many different versions.

@@wags696 Yo thanks!!! Man, that second one really does sound different. As someone who has been playing this game for almost 15 years now, it’s cool to hear different versions of these songs. If only they made a sequel. Oh well, a man can dream.
the closest waluigi got to a major role(looking back it's the opposite of mario party 3 since he took bowsers spot as the villain by actually beating him up compared to being rather quickly upstaged by him in this game.still want waluigi in a warioware/land game just to see his interactions with the crew.),still weird this is one of the few mario games princess peach isn't even mentioned in(would've loved to see her & daisy's dance moves and loved toadette's moments in story mode.) and yeah the music was hard awesome.(especially "starring wario" my favorite one.:3)
They were so scared of trying to sell the dance pad that they never actually showed the dance pad, only a JPEG or a hard plastic copy of it. If anyone has seen the real dance pad, you know what I'm talking about.
