Mukuro Ikusaba. The 16th student hidden somewhere in this school. The one they call the "Ultimate Despair". Watch out for her- oh wait she's dead nevermind
And then the REAL Junko comes running out of nowhere and knocks Naegi out with one swing of a Monokuma-Bat before rounding on Mukuro. Junko: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!? YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO "ULTIMATE DESPAIR!"
For those that are interested, there is an alternative storyline where Naegi accidentally regains his memories called Dangan Ronpa IF. It's also pretty much ships Ikusaba x Naegi. Pretty sure it's official material too, just alternative universe. No one ends up dying and Mukuro Ikusaba ends up changing sides. Junko escapes though.
Number13teen Oh man that would be a really interesting followup of IF if they ever included something similar in a future title again, because everyone escaping from the school and Mukuro changing sides changes everything! Most of Ultimate Despair won't commit suicide since Junko gets away and thus the tragedy would actually continue in more full swing... ...but with Mukuro on their side, the Future Foundation would have not only an effective method of tracking down the members of Despair with her soldier skills and her in-depth knowledge. She may even be able to identify Kamukura early, and who knows...her merely switching sides could help convince some others to switch too. Would some of Despair...maybe even the some of the SDR2 cast be affected by seeing the life of mutual killing fail even more spectacularly than even the "main" universe since no one died? Maybe getting some of them to snap out of it on their own? And on Kamukura, since Junko would be alive...there's a possibility Despair could even split because it was implied Kamukura was eventually intending to use even Junko for his own ends. There's also so many other things, with Chihiro alive the New World Program could be even better with his skills and knowledge around. Man, Mukuro could have changed EVERYTHING.
Kiyosuki I honestly hope there's going to be a follow up. IF was such a fucking page turner, and one of the greatest short novels I ever read. It'llalsoallowmetodeludemyselfandpretendallmyfavoritecharactersarealive.
Maan, this makes me so sad :( They would have been great together if Makoto noticed she liked him before all that started, he may have been able to sway her away from Junko :(
+Catz1a She definitely had feelings for him. Every time there was a class picture she was only looking at Makoto (According to WoG). The only time she'd ever look at the camera is if he was holding it.
@@mr.cup6yearsago211 Not really, the description says they are "oddly plain" for the Ultimate Fashionista, plus it says they are bullet proof, but not "spear proof". Think they are Mukuro's for real.
+kirant If you ignore it hard enough it may come true, also I push for IF to be canon as well, Makoto's luck should be on the same level as nagitos so the IF route is far more probable.
+Glenn Matthews Well, the Tragedy still happened, everyone except Mukuro (who suddenly disappeared obvi) could have joined Future Foundation and put every Ultimate Despair they caught in The Neo World Program 😆
The events of Towa city would've occured a little differently. First Komaru and the other captives would still be rescued by members of the future foundation However, Monaca and the warriors of hope wouldn't be there, because they would be beside junko the entire time.
So the sister of The Ultimate Despair ends up with The Ultimate Hope? (Originally Luckster) That would've actually made an interesting alternate storyline. It's also nice she gets a bigger part in this and a chance at redemption. Honestly I'm surprised this was put in the school mode. The video game creator's made it sound like to me that both twins were incapable of feeling anything but well despair and were kinda.. insane. But I suppose Mukuro was capable of feeling after all and just all she really wanted to do was please her sister and get her "love",
Emo Kitty that would be interesting ! seeing a former " villain " ending up with the hero is amazing ! well there a novel called dr if they ended up together there ! or in school mode lol 😁
Mukuro isn't actually the Ultimate Despair she was only apart of this all because she wanted to make Junko happy. In actuality she isn't really a bad person.
Theur ahogues are gunned shaped Also, we already know how Makoto's kods would look like because of rhe bad ending...Now imagine Mukuro holding BABY MAKOTO
Additional note: If you look closely, you can catch a whiff of Despair...and thus the reason why it should be locked away. In a vault. In the Artic Sea. Forever.
So... is that really Ikusaba? Would she really spend the rest of her time with Naegi and keep pretending to be Junko? That would be exhausting after a while...
I feel like she'd tell Makoto at some point. Makoto does realize that maybe there is a secret that "Junko" has yet to tell him, and he's okay with that, cause he knows she'll tell him when the time is right.
@@Pablo-yu9mc = Desope (Despair Hope) According To My Caculations, Despair Hope Could Destroy The Whole World. Even Destroy Those *"UwU"* Bitches. Anyways, Let Me Go Look For Something
Kid Kame Me also , i f**king laugh for ending ! Naegi x Junko Enoshima (Bear is Girl) or Naegi x Junko Enoshima & Kyoko kirigiri in Lover xD HAHAHAHA Very , very funny !
+sebastian quintero She did.. But that didn't end well for the guy. And odds are she would have some degree of "Love" for him because of he is why she really felt something as powerful and seemingly sexual due to him
Now i wonder what would the actual Junko's redemption would look like? Yes she is a genocidal psychopath but what if by some goddamn miracle she actually just forgets being obessed with despair? Kinda interesting to see that😂
@@mariacorazondevelos7178 I don't think anything short of complete brainwashing could save junko. Junko, if her own testimony serves as anything, was always since the beginning of time all despair. That's hard to grow past. Mukuro on the other hand has likes and dislikes, she has hopes and dreams. Too bad, one like of hers is her sister.
You fell in love with despair because it’s unpredictable...correct? But Hope is just as unpredictable. One minute, it unites nations the next it destroys them without a trace.
"From this point on, no matter what happens, even if I don't seem like myself...will you stay by my side ?" Me with my fists extened to the heavens : MURUKOOOOO !
Goddamn... As I have read The IF Story, I will say that Mukuro is one of my favorite girls in this game. No way can I accept her unreasonable death! Ahaha Naegi x Ikusaba for me! XD It would have been more awesome if she showed her real look though.
You know, I really happy I played this game with 0 spoilers. I really liked junko from the start, I did look up what she liked as presents and was surprized it was rations, but i thought it was just a Leon scenario where she was actually into different stuff that what her talent was about. Later I was exposed to the fact that the one that I liked so much wasn't junko, but actually mukuro. And you know. That had and effect on me. I was really happy I could see her again in school mode though
"When you look at me, when I fell your hand in mine... I know that... I'm real." This is one of the most beautiful sentences I've ever heard. I liked Mukuro before, but this gave her so much more depth, wow
2:02 “who else could you be?” mukuro ikusaba, the 16th student. hidden somewhere in this school. the one they call the "ultimate despair." watch out for her.
Imagine the actual Junko come out and take off Mukuro’s wig for pranks. Makoto will be more shocked than he was when he learned that Chihiro was a guy.
Poor Mukuro... it’s obvious that she has been manipulated by her sister since she was a child, and when she face a situation where she can be herself she feels very comfortable but at the same time guilty:(
naekusaba is the otp though and if mukuro had survived she would had definitely replaced kirigiri as the main love interest .mukuro is better and cooler than kirigiri tbh
without this information, what happens next feels like a random betrayal. with this information, what happens next is more like she was being silenced on top of being betrayed.
I'd really like a "What If" scenario for if Mukuro survives to the end and her feelings for Makoto actually become more powerful than her devotion to Junko. This could result in either: 1.) Mukuro dies in the end but not without finally admitting to Makoto her feelings, giving Makoto all the more reason to put an end to the killing game. Makoto still thanks about Mukuro as he plays a part in Goodbye Despair's story. 2.) Junko is defeated thanks to Mukuro and the others. While Mukuro doesn't expect to be forgiven for her part in Junko's plans, the survivors are still willing to let Mukuro in and assist them in the future.
