I, too, am 51 and loved this workout. I always prefer longer set times, in exchange for longer rest times. I didn't trust myself enough to do the "lunge-ster" correctly with the weight I was using (24 kg), so I did the regular squat thruster. Weight was light for swings and squats but a challenge for everything else. Snatch-ster set was a grand old time; I was ready to fall-down-dead at 50 seconds. Mike, I've been following you for years now and can't thank you enough. Keep pushing all forms of the split squat. They have proven to be such an important exercise for strength and flexibility. Thanks again.

I started with 16 kg, but had to switch to 12 kg in the middle of round 3. Hopefully next time, I will be able to use 16 kg a bit longer.

Killer workout as always!! The only thing that could have spiced it up would be some BURPEES! ...and as you said, some of your peppy music which I noticed was missing right before you said it! You may have already looked into it but there are lots of royalty free music sites out there. Lot's of electronic/upbeat stuff like you normally play.

Possibly the best (worst) one of your workouts yet. Amazing. Still sweating 30 min later. Thanks for this (also, I'm 43 - so well over 30 ... and kept asking myself, in Mike voice: Did you die?)

Hey Mike! Thanks for the workouts! I’m yet to try this one but I have a question, I see most of your workouts are 45 mins or so is there a reason for this? Been trying your hour longs with my 28kg and by Friday I feel like I’m hit by a bus 😂 in a good way! Is there an optimal workout length? Just out of curiosity
