This is like one of the movies that me and my friends used to make (minus the graphic nudity lol) when we were like 10 years old that made absolutely no sense, everything was thought up on the spot as the movie progressed, and it just abruptly ended when we ran out of ideas or it started getting dark.
Reminds me of something I did in the late 90s-early 00s as a teen. We had a camcorder and a big bag of weed and a half-arsed ghost story idea. We ended up just filming ourselves getting high and passing the joint to a mate wearing a cowboy hat... and then reshooting the same scene but with fishing wire holding the joint and cowboy hat "floating" in the air implying our mate was a ghost. To the finders of that tape in future... I apologise in advance for the cringe.
same. my grandma would let us make home movies with her camcorder but...only if they had a strong Christian message. movies would start out like 'omg no., there's a monster/ghoul/etc and we have to stop it!' and would end with my grandma forcing us to reading the bible.. Jesus wept.
This movie was mostly shot in the 1980s, test-screened somewhere in 1985 or 1986, then the last part was reshot in the 1990s.....which is why "Black Pepper" looks like he is living in 1993, while everything before looks like the early 1980s. This is why self-financing movies is a pain in the neck - it takes forever and styles change as the film is made.

@@AdmiralBison Sure, but there's a simpler reason: it's an easy(but also often cheap) way to craft an antagonist. Same with sex. Instead of writing a good and interesting back story for the lead and his love interest, just make them sleep together!(and it also prevents the viewer from turning the movie off) XD

I loved this movie. I laughed so many times at the dialogue, acting, fight scenes, music, and random sex scenes. It felt almost like a Godfrey Ho movie without the crazy action. The guy who gets stranded by her in the middle of nowhere, is easily the best character.
You know your bad movies! I was going to mention Godfrey Ho as well. All Cinema Snob fans know of Mr. Ho and his propensity to take 2 or 3 films and scotch tape them together. Lol Usually Mark knows his, "so bad it's good" movies but even though his humor is great, I'm surprised he didn't recognize the movie as a classic Friday night, fun with friends, beer and weed film. The episode is 6 years old so I'll cut my fellow Canadian some well deserved slack. The Rifftrax version is an all-time classic and recomended to all! Cheers from Canada
So, I only recently discovered you, and I'm hooked. The algorithm delivered me to Champagne & Bullets, and my fate was sealed after that. I decided to start 7 years back and watch my way forward. I'm "here" right now, on the list. I just wanted to drop in to tell you, with great certainty, that I want all of your T-shirts. I love them ALL. And if you were my neighbor, I would most likely occasionally steal one from you. 👍 Appreciate the film perspective too. I was once a film student and loved it, even though the professor's slow monotone voice would put me down like a siren's song. But then, I got a job. 🤣
black pepper might just be the best character out of all these bad movies mark is reviewing lol i cant stop laughing every time black pepper is on screen and the actor playing black pepper is great he deserves an oscar or a golden glob at least
10 step process to make a bad movie: 1. Bad Acting 2. A story with only 20 minutes of content. 3. Pointless subplots. 4. Excessive repetition to get across a point. 5. Horrendous dubbing. 6. Random editing. 7. No cinematographer. 8. Repetitive Dubstep music. 9. Underwhelming, anticlimactic and poorly choreographed action. 10. Awkward sex scenes and nudity.

That 70's porn-sounding music loop is the same music they play on the DVD for Seinfeld Scene-It. I guess the game makers really wanted a dollar store version of the show's theme song. :D

19:35 when I was in the Army deployed in Iraq I sort of became the Company’s unofficial videographer because I videoed everything and made little mini movies during my night shifts. I filmed a company boxing tournament and I pimped it out with multiple camera angles, music from The Matrix and slow mo shots. I only had a few sound effects for the punches, mostly taken from Indiana Jones movies, but damn, even I mixed things up by playing the sound effects at varying speeds if things were getting too repetitive 😂
At 3:50 I already lost my mind at the "FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY". Reminds me of the time me and my friend recorded ourselves fighting with sticks so we can add lightsaber effects to it using cracked sony vegas. God bless.
