Dangerous Power G5 - On the Tech Mat 

I got the chance to play with one of these the other day and my thought went exactly as yours did as you described the marker. "Oh man, this is a sleek looking gun. Cool beans" "GOOD LORD, I AM NOW A SOUP GOD." Wish I saw this video first so I could cap the BPS and gotten a fair experience with the gun. Anywho, love your videos and hope your are staying safe through the storms!

As of now, this gun has a Turbine Bolt upgrade that fixed the issue entirely and is now badass.

I have both a G5 and a G5 Spec-R. I keep them on ramping capped at 12.5 and don't see too much of an issue. Field paint is usually 4-star which works ok. Most practices I will break a ball but it's not to the point that it isn't usable.

Great video MadMan. My second gun was DP G4 (yes it was loud but i didn't care for that), from the very beginning i had no complaints at all, the gun was perfect when i was playing against rentals on semi auto mode. But when i was switching to psp mode that's where the problems started. After some time the shaft of the bolt got scratched by the ball stoppers. The other bad thing is that you won't be able to find parts for DP guns and if you do, you will pay a good price. Now i have gtek, and i want to thank you MadMan for the reviews which stopped me from getting axe pro. No regrets regarding getting gtek.

was not expecting that ending, so I obviously haven't watched enough of your videos. time to go watch them. :) BTW, nice vid, and I personally would rather have a gun that wouldn't break paint just because of the drive train.

Tech t bolt upgrades are the way to go

I was just looking at the g5 spec r and they are awesome markers. only reason I haven't bought it yet is the lack of bolt upgrades

Just an update. I have the G5 Spec-R now along with the Turbine Core Bolt. I haven't had the time to shoot paint through it, but I can tell you that it is louder than the stock bolt. It is also smoother, but not by much.

Awsome of you to clear the air a bit for dp. I've always sort of rooted for them, but they have a un-dying reputation of poor quality control and such. Most of wich has passed but its still overlooked

real bummer on the bolt system. larger body = larger dump chamber = lower psi ....hopefully an underbore at 280 fps can minimize bolt speed problems. personally I'd much rather have a Rize Maxxed which features a real solenoid.

GREAT video on the Dangerous Power G5. I am running a guerrilla air tank with a mid (550-600) pressure kit and I installed a pressure measuring device on the back. I keep losing the front o-ring closest to the barrel, I have noticed a rub marks on the bolt about the size of the oring I am talking about. Talking with DPservice they would like me to send the marker back to test. If you could comment back any ideas that I could try before shipping back would be greatly appreciated. Would there be an issue if I ran a extra low pressure kit (275-300)?

Hey madman. Just picked up a g5 at a garage sale. Looks like it’s never been used. Airs up no leaks however nothing happens. It’s like it’s not getting air. When you degass the asa it does bleed off so it seems to be pressuring but then you turn it on and eyes off or on nothing happens. Can hear the micro switch click with the eyes off. Any suggestions ??

There is a new Bolt Engine from Dangerous Power. It no longer allows "rollback" and also increases FPS as a drop in upgrade. How do you feel about this marker now with that upgrade?

Great video bro, Ive learned alot. Since I do own a DP can the drive train be upgraded? If so where can I buy a better one?

how would putting the O-rings in the body make it cheaper then putting them on the bolt, shouldn't have effected the cost. if your putting lube on the bolt your not putting them on the O-rings like you should which causes bolt sticks. if I recall they did it as to advertise that there guns bolt is O-ring-less

Help needed. I cant seem to make up my mind on which paintball gun to get so any opinions would be greatly appreciated. $400 Etek 5 used of course comes with an 68/4500 ninja tank or G5 spec r with turbine bolt or Etha 2

would my basic empire hpa tank be a no no on the g5 ? it's all i have at the moment lol also i usually keep it on semi as i play woodsball. or should i get a g4 and upgrade the bolt? or would that be the same ? ive just always wanted a Dangerous Power dammit! 😂
