Bloodsport 2 from 1996 actually had more sophisticated fight scenes than the original, with better Stunt Performers and Martial Artists including none other than a young Chad Stahelski, Writer & Director of the #JohnWick movies who plays a long haired Fighter that squares off against Star Daniel Bernhardt. Bernhardt took over as the lead, due to his slight resemblance to Van Damme and once it became clear that #JCVD wasn't going to do it.
Now the reason why the action is superior to the original is because it was directed and choreographed by Philip Tan, The Father of #LewisTan who will himself be the lead in the new #MortalKombat reboot.
