@Pretty Ahki If not mistaken, as this is what bugged me the fuck out, there werent any other prior nor since that one mild scene. Pachino pissed me off with his over the top antics on that role outside of that classic scene & Bobby mastered his craft and got even more refined in this role then went on to do Ronin a few later which was one of his top ranking best ever. Heat's a one and done for me but Ronin can get watched forever over & over. I remember an interview when Mase first had some success and he rode around in his new truck with the audio of the shootout blasting out of his whip haha.

Realistic gunfire sounds, no fake sounding crap added in post-production, realistic reloading, tactics and cinematography. In particular the attention to detail is often cited as something rarely seen in film (Val Kilmer tapping his magazine on the back of the car for example). there are film schools that use it as a teaching tool on how to film a great gunfight.
