Dark Angel The Ascent - Good Bad Flicks 

Thank you. This video resolved a mystery that has been eluding me for 20+ years. I remember vaguely watching the start of a movie as a kid where a fairly hot demon girl with wings climbs out a sewer. I had tried to find out what it was for so long. So many Google searches. No one I knew had ever seen it. So, thanks for this as now if I die I doubt I'll be a ghost as I'll have no unresolved issues.

this... actually looks like a movie. with a story. and acting. what the hell, but then again, Full Moon was really good at getting the right people for the job.

Fun Fact: Veronica's father is played by Nicholas Worth. He was the Soviet Premier Alexander Romanov in the famous RTS Red Alert 2, as well as the Atreides Mentat in Emperor: Battle for Dune.

This was another movie, much like Night of the Comet, that I always saw in the video store but didn’t watch until it just randomly was on TV one day and I watched it on a whim. Loved it and I agree, Angeles Featherstone is MESMERIZING.

I am surprised that a movie with a "male fantasy" as a protagonist would be directed by a woman. But then again, I would think that a female director would make the film less sleazy than it sounds. A small-town girl doesn't want to follow in her father's footsteps and work for the family business. She leaves town for the big city and finds it almost as bad as where she came from. In a traditional movie, she would be victimized by the city-folk and be rescued by the city boy. In this film, however, she overcomes and uses her special abilities to make a difference. And OF COURSE she wants extramarital sex all the time. She's a demon. As observed by RLM, the most popular way to get boobs in your movie is the lazy way (r*pe). In this film, she is a strong female protagonist in charge of her sexuality and gets consent from the city boy before snoo-snoo.

I thought this was a movie based on the Jessica Alba FOX show.

Loved this movie... as I did most Full Moon productions from back then. I thought their take on hell was great... demons praying to God and doing his bidding by punishing the guilty. Plus Nicholas Worth (RIP) as her dad... he's always entertaining.

I liked the concept of the demons in hell serving God. Only two things disappointed me, I wanted the dog to transform into a vicious creature and like you I wanted it to become a series like Puppet Master and Trancers.

I remember seeing this movie on tv a long long time ago and I really liked it. I totally forgot about it till now but now I really want to find it.

Caught the middle of this on late night a million years ago. What really stuck with me besides the porno date night was that demon kind was totally down with the other side (god/heaven/angels). They didn't question their existence or place on the morality scale. They didn't spread sin but attacked it both because they wanted to and because it was their duty.

i recalled seeing parts of it as a kid and never could find it but a few months ago it popped up on HULU and watched it it was actually ok i mean low budget so some effects are meh and some acting is meh but over all very enjoyable.

This one is SO frustrating because it's half a wonderful a movie. Unique story, great direction, locations, and cinematography, and Angela Featherstone (AKA Chloe, the copy girl whom Ross Gellar slept with while "on a break") is mesmerizing. But on the flipside, the dialogue is consistently, hilariously awful, and this fact is hammered home by bad acting galore, plus there's some noticeably out-of-sync dubbing. Given a bigger budget, a polished script, and professional actors, this could've been a classic.

This whole movie feels tailor-made for nerds who rented Full Moon's movies back in the day XD Demons from Hell? Check! Ridiculous cheesy gore? Check! A sexy redhead who is also a sexy demon who wears tight leather, gets nekkid a lot and is a superhero kinda? CHECK CHECK CHEEEEEEEECK

This movie gave you lots of material to work with. Hilarious!

Aww, this was filmed in my home town! And county! The worst best flicks you enjoyed are actually filmed in the early 90s in Romania. Cause it was sooo cheap and I guess infamous for its former communist regime.
